I recently had an unfortunate experience at Rahama Restaurant in Beltsville, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. I must begin by stating that the cashier I encountered was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Their behavior left a lasting negative impression on my overall dining experience.
From the moment I approached the counter to place my order, the cashier displayed a complete lack of courtesy and respect. They appeared disinterested and impatient, barely acknowledging my presence. I tried to maintain a positive attitude, assuming that they may have been having a bad day, but unfortunately, their behavior only worsened as our interaction continued.
When I asked a few questions about the menu items, the cashier responded with an annoyed tone, as if my inquiries were an inconvenience. Their answers were curt and lacked any helpful information. I felt rushed and dismissed, which made me hesitate to ask further questions or make any special requests.
To make matters worse, the cashier made an error when processing my payment. Rather than calmly rectifying the mistake, they became defensive and defensive, suggesting that it was my fault. Their unwillingness to take responsibility for their error was disheartening and unprofessional. It seemed evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for this individual.
In addition to the poor customer service, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant left much to be desired. The cashier's attitude seemed to permeate throughout the establishment, as the other staff members appeared equally disengaged and uninterested in providing a welcoming experience.
It is regrettable that such a negative encounter overshadowed what could have been a pleasant dining experience. Rahama Restaurant may have a reputation for its food, but the appalling behavior of the cashier left a lasting negative impression on me. It is my hope that the management takes note of these concerns and addresses the need for improved customer service and professionalism among their staff.
As a customer, I believe that being treated with respect and courtesy is essential, regardless of the establishment. Unfortunately, my experience at Rahama Restaurant in Beltsville fell far short of these expectations, and I cannot recommend it based on the rude and unhelpful behavior of...
Read moreI honestly don't know what high stool the employees here sit on, but the customer service here Is always HORRIBLE. The environment is filthy... As a result, they keep the raggedy curtain up so you can't see what's going on in the kitchen. I once observed meat pies piled HIGH with no cover and flies circling them. I ignored the red flags once more because witnessing such things is usual in Ghana. Every time I go, there are at least ten health code violations. The staff members have little regard for you and will speak about you in Twi with their regular clients, unaware that you also speak Twi. Today, I sent my spouse to get a meal for me, and When he entered, everyone was staring at him blankly. ( I believe this information to the fullest because every time I go they look into my soul as if I do not belong there) . Before he could even place his order or speak, an employee in the rear shouted, "NOT READY, NOT READY, TEN MINUTES!" Is there no suitable greeting? He swiftly tried to reject him without knowing what he wanted. My husband requested an order, paid, and was instructed to return in 10 minutes. My husband returned 7 minutes later, at 7:50, to find the door LOCKED.
Once again another stare-off- NO staff moved, They looked at him hoping he would walk away. My man Is 6'8" and Is husky. You will never forget him! My husband slammed the receipt onto the glass window after a guest (I HOPE) got up, moved to the door, and told him they were closed and to "Go Away". They were just looking at him and the lady who was always working at the front taking orders had the nerve to shoo him. It took another customer who was dining in to tell them to let him retrieve his food. That was really inappropriate. The food is usually delicious, but please improve the service. Do not disrespect people who are coming to your establishment because you never know who they're connected to ( I.E. PG County...

Im giving them a low rating because I always ordered through ubereats and always experienced some sort of issue. Of lately me and my bf has been ordering the same meal. There were days they sent the correct items and other days they sent what they felt like. We noticed this problem becoming too frequent. When we called the facility to confirm if our upcoming order would be what we asked for, they kept asking me to repeat myself then they would respond asking what's the name on the order. Then would continue to put me on hold then kept sending me back to the main menu. They then cancelled my order with no explanation or apparent reason. I ended ordering from somewhere else that night.
The next day I ended up placing another order. When I received my food this time it was something else. I called the restaurant and they acted like they could careless. Then they sent me to the menu again then stopped answering the phone in general. What Ive learned from ordering from this facility, is that the workers have very bad customer service skills, and it seems like they just don't care about their customers in general. We spend too much money ordering from them on ubereats to be treated with such disregard. Either some days the meat too tough, other days we get a surprise meal, or it can be days we may be lucky enough to get what we actually asked for.
Point is, we stopped ordering from them because the errors became too frequent and they are straight up nonchalant to...
