Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maryland

This Popeyes establishment is pretty good, but it has some issues.

First, the service is great... but I've had several long wait times. I don't mean like 10 minutes or 15 minutes, but like 30 minutes-1 hour wait times. I don't blame the workers but more so the system, seeing how it either makes my online orders disappear or they don't get it till later.

Second, the atmosphere is terrible! Inside, it's nice but could use a touchup but outside is an entirely different ordeal. The outside is grim and bland, you can barely tell it's a popeyes without the gigantic sign. I won't be too harsh on it since this store is pretty old, so I can give it a bit of a pass.

Extra service, more competent than others. (Reviewing this a couple months later -- not changing a thing. I see others complain about the service. My experience is they almost always get my orders right when ALL the other Popeye's get the orders wrong!)

You might notice I did like 5 Popeye's reviews in a row and I even copied and pasted the comments between 2. But each review expresses my experience as I best remember it. Was made to wait for a fresh batch of mild chicken to be cooked only to be served some of the chicken that was sitting under the warmer the entire time I waited for the fresh cooked batch. If I'm made to wait 12 minutes for chicken to cook the least you can do is give me the fresh chicken and biscuits and not those that were sitting under the warmer. When I finally got home and opened the bag, I found the mashed potato container opened with gravy spilled all inside soaking the box of chicken and biscuits. Please be sure to secure the containers before it's bagged otherwise dinner becomes a complete mess. So not worth the wait for...
