Double Play Pizza Co — Restaurant in Camarillo

My husband and I were craving pizza and usually order from Domino's but we wanted to support a local small business instead. We took a chance on Double Play and were thoroughly impressed. We got the Vegetarian pizza but with garlic sauce and it was so delicious! The crust was the best I've ever had. It cost a bit more than Domino's but the ingredients are so fresh and you can definitely taste the improved quality. We also ordered the Thai Chicken and the Vegetarian sub sandwich. My husband really enjoyed the unique flavor of the Thai pizza. It was a bit too spicy for me and it came on a thin crust which was less crispy than the regular crust so I prefer the regular crust. My absolute favorite though, was the vegetarian sub sandwich. It was so flavorful and juicy but the bread was still dry and crunchy. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items, especially with the Ranch and Pesto...

We had just ordered a large order from Double play Pizza and has been 1 1/2 hours we had called an hour in to the delievery and they said he should be at the house any minute so then the hour and. A half call later the gentleman who answers from double play pizza says that they only took the phone number and didn't have the address to our house this is not the first time we ordered from them and said sorry I had asked him if they were going to deliver and he said sorry again but we close in a half hour this operation does not deserve any business worst customer service and will not recommend them WOW wait 1 1/2 hour and sorry no delievery BEWARE this business does not deserve any business this is the first negative review I have ever done and they deserve it HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE no stars...

We’re new to the area & we love small businesses! I was able to walk in and order a pizza with a small 15 minute wait. Front desk was super friendly. I ordered a family meal that was advertised on their website in the coupons section and paid 37.99 for a large 1 topping pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread and a family size salad. It fed my family of 4 with leftovers. It’s conveniently located near CVS & Vons so while we waited for our pizza we walked to pick up a few things.
