I am a very regular customer of this Starbucks branch inside Vons. Today I walked in to get my regular dark-roast venti coffee. My caterer, a guy named "Vlamic" or "Vilamitch" runs out of dark roast about half to two-thirds way up to the cup. So what he does is quickly grab another container from the brewery counter and fills the rest of my cup up with "HOT WATER", right in front of my eyes. After doing that he cleans of the front counter and puts away the empty container, and the one filled with HOT WATER into the sink. I was talking with my relative and I walk out with the diluted cup of coffee. I decided to come back in and tell the caterer what had happened. And he pretends to me that it was an accident that he filled the rest of the cup with HOT WATER and says to me that he would never do that on purpose. Which I really doubt given the rate at which he had tried to clear up the two containers. Anyways, this being said, I don’t mind waiting for a fresh brew, or even taking Pike or whichever one is available, but I am really DISAPPOINTED that this guy was willing to give up his integrity for over such a trivial thing.
Please keep your eye on this male waiter while being served, so that he doesn’t try to pull off another one of his brilliant ideas under your eyes, and you leave having just half of what...
Read moreYesterday I ordered a plain hot tea and ended up leaving without my order or money due to the extremely long waiting time and employee difficulty with providing a simple order. This is the second time I have experienced signifigant issues at the Mission Oaks Vons Starbucks. Both times, the employees have been polite and tried to be helpful to no avail, but struggled with basic job functions such cash register use and keeping line length and wait times reasonable.
The first time, I was overcharged and then refunded too much. I explained the refund by showing the math on the back of the receipt. Neither the manager, nor the employee could get the register to process the refund properly and eventually decided to handle it later considering the length of time I had been waiting and the long line of increasing impatient customers.
Yesterday, the employee similarly struggled with the register for another customer and was providing sometimes large food and drink purchases out of order making those with earlier, small/simple orders wait much longer. I politely asked about my order, but was ignored. Eventually, I left without my tea or money. Mission Oaks Vons Starbucks has lost my future business. Other local businesses have provided much...
Read moreI've been here once and I straight up did not have a good time. I ordered a latte with soymilk (non-dairy), because I am very allergic to dairy (I made sure to mention this to the girl at the counter). I waited for five minutes, the latte came out, I left with the latte. I was already in my car when I realized something was wrong (I only had a small sip because it's always good to err on the side of caution :) so I went back in the store. I went up to the serve station and asked the barista for a new latte and a water to ease off the reaction. 5 minutes went by, I still did not have water, and at this point my eyes were watering, I had a phat stomachache, and I couldn't stop coughing. The person next to me clearly thought I had coronavirus. I went to the girl at the cash register and repeated my request, had to wait a few more minutes before finally getting water and a new latte, and had a bad stomachache for the whole morning. looks like I'll have to stick to the arneill-las posas...
