Ragged Point Inn Wine Bar — Restaurant in Cambria

We visited the Big Sur 4/7/22 and stopped in at the Ragged Point wine/sandwich/espresso bar that afternoon. The whole day was great with beautiful sites and friendly folks along path. We were looking to refill our waters and grab a quick snack. Unfortunately, the lady behind the counter was extremely rude. When asking about the water pitcher, she shouted back "the one in front of your face"... really, is this what customer service has come to. Then when the pitcher was refilled, she filled it with warm water and smiled as she handed it off. Wow! We decided we would wait to head further up the road to get snack where we would be treated with some...

Great location and generally nice place. Service, at least the outside restaurant, was slow (10+ minutes for 2 burgers and one order of onion rings). They post they make each item from fresh, but I would hope they could do more than one order at a time instead of one complete then the next. Ill still stop back, but being from the Midwest, we're used to orders that are much faster then this when they are pretty...

The views are spectacular. The overview trails are easy walkabouts. Place is busy with travelers so there are long lines for everything there. Good place to stop to take break if going to Monterey fro San Luis...
