We came here on a Sunday in June around 1 pm. We were seated fairly quickly and the young lady who was at the front wasn't too friendly, she didn't acknowledge my comment about not knowing which door to come in through. When she seated us and we said thank you, we just got a "mmhmm" it's not really friendly but it's not extremely rude either. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know; but that's something I would hate to see happen in my restaurant. It's a terrible first impression for the customer. On the other hand, the other waitresses were much more friendly. We ordered the Brisket Hash and the Acai Bowl from the brunch menu. Food was okay, nothing spectacular or super special about it. The presentation of the food was great but just judging off of the taste it was okay. The brisket is pretty plain but mixed with the brussel sprouts and other veggies within the hash it was alright. The Acai Bowl according to my kid was average and the biscuits were good. The biscuits went well with the jelly, butter and I think it's a honey type dip that came with it. Overall my experience here at the restaurant was decent, I didn't come in with high expectations but it's a restaurant that serves some interesting dishes and the prices are pretty fair in my book. Maybe the Sunday brunch menu isn't for me. So I might come back to try other things on the menu the next time around. But the hostess up front definitely needs to work on her customer...

We give the restaurant 1 star... Zero if we could. Don't eat there. Staff was rude and inattentive. But the food was a joke. I ordered the shrimp with pasta. The quantity was ridiculous. There was maybe 1/3 cap of pasta and two shrimp. One shrimp was charred... I couldn't remove it from the shell... And unless they cooked it in the dark, it was visabily unetible and they served it anyway. My husband ordered the swordfish. OK size filet with and ok side of broccolini, both prepared acceptably (but nothing special), but it came with potatoes... They literally took a cooked russet potato, chopped it and served it. No seasoning, not even salt and pepper. Not even half a potato worth. It was dry and chalky. It takes a lot to make a potato gross and inedible, but they did it! And the kicker, our bill was $80. We felt totally scammed and disrespected. What supposed 4 star establishment would allow food to go out like this? One who know theres no other option for about 20 minutes down the road. Well, it's worth the drive. Don't eat there. It's a rip off. The food was unimpressive and staff uncaring. It really put a damper on our whole stay because we felt cheated out of quite a bit of money. Way overpriced for...

Go here!! My husband and I stopped in today for a late lunch and were blown away! The service, food, and atmosphere were top- notch! We were shocked to look at reviews after to see a lower rating.

The atmosphere is picturesque and we enjoyed being able to look out at the garden while we enjoyed our meal. After our meal we enjoyed taking the short hike down to Ragged Point! Highly recommend!

The service was fantastic! Our server was friendly, offered suggestions, and kept coming back to keep us topped up on drinks.

The food... well we are still talking about it! We started with the crab cakes. They were very flavorful. The best crab cakes I have had! My husband had the Beef Filet sandwich. He shared one bite and I proposed we split our meals down the middle so I could keep enjoying it. The beef was perfectly cooked and sandwiched between the best bread! The layering of flavors was perfect. My husband even dropped a piece of beef on the floor from his sandwich and refused to let it go to waste- 3 second rule right? I had the salmon salad and was not disappointed! The portion was huge and fed both my husband and I. It was so fresh and such a unique blend!

We will...

This was a nice restaurant. I was grateful it wasn't overpriced because of the location. I had the salad with shrimp and the key lime pie. The salad was awesome. The key lime pie was just ok. It was nice that it wasn't overly sweet, but it had little to no key lime flavor. The customer service was interesting. The young ladies that worked there handled everything except for picking up the check. Are they not trusted to do so? Idk. I just found it odd. The grounds were beautiful and definitely worth walking around. If you are on a long journey and need to stretch your legs or let the kids get some energy out, this is the place. It has a field with trees. There is also beach access where you can walk down a bunch of stairs. It looks as if it's not for the faint of heart. At the bottom there is a black sand beach.

We had dinner at Ragged Point Restaurant and made it just in time for sunset! Starved, we ordered fresh oysters, the filet, and ribeye. The ribeye was HUGE and perfectly cooked. Everything was mouthwatering! High on a cliff top, the property is gorgeous with indoor and outdoor seating, and just steps away from stunning views of the Big Sur coast where you can sit and watch a stunning sunset! They also have a firepit area where to host live music. Need a break from the road on your Highway 1 road trip? Ragged Point Inn is right next door.
