The food is pretty good and the location is clean/peaceful. Unfortunately, the employees are very rude and unprofessional. I’m not sure if I was being treated poorly based on my skin color, but that’s how it feels. The treatment I received was very unprovoked as I patiently waited for my food and paid just like everybody else.
It’s rare for me to write a review but I’m so taken aback that I felt the need to share this.
To elaborate, I was rushed while I was ordering even though I patiently waited for them to finish servicing the “regular” customer that was ahead of me in line. I could understand if I was sitting there going “um, um”, but that was not the case. I took a second to look between two options and the guy making my burrito started loudly repeating “which one” , and snapping his fingers at me. Then the cashier seemed to get an attitude after I didn’t tip using my card. In my opinion, she didn’t do anything to deserve a tip. I’ve also worked in a restaurant so I understand how things work. Mentioning that because when I went back up to order a fountain drink, there was no ice in the machine. So I asked to exchange it for a water (which costs less than the drink I just paid for). I wasn’t asking for a refund, just am exchange. Rudely, she rolled her eyes as she grabbed the water from the fridge then slammed it on the counter although my hand was out to grab it from her! That right there was my last straw & the reason I’m writing this review.
I hope whoever employed these people can see this, don’t let bad attitudes ruin the face of your business. I’ve loved...
Read moreThis is usually one of my favorite Anna's in the whole Boston area. It used to be my favorite for service quality and consistency of food and speed. I haven't been there in a couple months and was craving it so I made the ride about 20 minutes over. I went in waited in line for 20 minutes it was busy a Friday night, no worries I get up to the front of the line and the employee yells at me in Spanish which I found out from another customer that no mask no service. The mass law literally just got lifted in every single town and surrounding stores. I said I don't understand what you're saying they repeated it again in Spanish when the nice customer next to me told me what they said. I said I'm sorry I don't have one where the employee who I've seen many times and is usually really nice again persisted to yell at me in Spanish that they weren't going to serve me. Thankfully the customer next to me spoke back to them in Spanish and somehow talk them into serving me which I think is absolutely ridiculous. They then ignored my order served five people after me and after the five people finally handed me a mask. honestly totally unnecessary and I will never be going back there again. You guys just lost a regular customer after 10 years because you're rude. Unacceptable do...

I usually tip even when I go in person, but I’m tired of tip when the food is already expensive and you get less food than before. The quality of the food is also lacking.
Usually food has been sitting for a while and looks almost burnt.
I ordered a Mexican Bowl with steak, lettuce, guacamole and pinto beans. $14.95 And the bowl wasn’t even halfway full!
Even the lady behind the counter asked if the portion was ok!? You can’t even ask for more of anything because they mark it up as extra.
For this reason I started cooking more at home.
Restaurants need to stop the mediocre price increases and stop with the tips.
How much longer will they keep crying Covid and chain supply issues?
