Today,2:30.We have visited hundreds of wine tasting fares around the country. This is the most uninviting and cold environment we have experienced in the last 10 years. Employees where rude and service was only a step above what you might experience at a fast food chain. There wines are medioaker, appitizers are over priced,the the tablespoon of heated olives where the size of pencil erasers, the cheese plate @ $14.00 was a total disgrace. We had a marvelous time. Great service, intriguing wines (do a tasting, it was so much fun to sip and compare opinions with my dining companions), adventurous, robust, eclectic menu. It was an amazing journey for my taste buds. The atmosphere was rather romantic and magical. I had a lovely time. I hope they are open for New Year's Eve, because I so want to be there. I was a bit disappointed when we walked in and the first thing we were asked was if we wanted to see a menu to eat. I usually go to a winery to try wine. I did not see anywhere where they have wine tastings. You can buy a glass or bottle of wine but no tasting before to see what you like. They have a nice outdoor patio to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. The outdoor area could use a bit of maintenance as to the landscaping and the flags on the flag poles. The Wisconsin flag is so tattered that the last 4 letters of Wisconsin are missing from the flag.
