Delicious food! Definitely will be back if I am in that area! Worth going out of your way for the collards alone! The coleslaw is finely shredded and creamy, never had it like this before but it is so creamy and delicious! The beans were perfectly seasoned, the mac and cheese shells are very creamy and pare perfectly with the meats that are so tender and delicious, I got the Alamo so I could try a little bit of everything (except the chicken). The ribs are fall off the bone tender, the brisket was a little dry but so tender and delicious, the pork sandwich is awesome and you barely have to chew it is so tender, the BBQ sauce tastes homemade and has a nice vinegar tang, not too much but just a little bite. I got extra sides so I could try them all... very impressed with the quality and atmosphere, definitely worth a try for anyone...

Great food and staff! We got a little bit of everything for a Father’s Day surprise and everything was wonderful and the portions generous. All of the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ribs and brisket were so tender and juicy, and both the chicken & pulled pork were also excellent and very tasty. The coleslaw so nice and creamy, tasty beans and the mac and & cheese is almost addictive with a rich creamy cheese sauce riddled with bits of nice smoky bacon. To round things off, the mini pecan pies have a smoky sweetness that is just divine. Fair warning though, if you are planning to take this yummy food home, the aroma that fills your vehicle may make it difficult to arrive at your destination without sneaking a bite or two....

Highly recommend for so many reasons. Indoor dining during cold months is spacious and warm with seating by windows to watch falling snow. Order/pickup process for food is simple and quick. The owner/cook was friendly, helpful, and generous. He happily accommodated for my wife who is lactose intolerant. Cant say enough about the food. It was spectacular. The meat was so delicious that even the fat on the meat was full of good taste. We got the Alamo (Pulled-pork sandwich, brisket, 2 ribs, and 2 sides). It was enough to split between 2 people. The beans are perfectly done and the pecan pie knocked our socks off. Theres a pingpong table set up to play with while waiting on food.
