McDonald's — Restaurant in Camilla

I would not usually give a McDonald's a four star review but in the case of the one in Meigs Georgia I'm willing to offer a little better score due to the service.

Now there was some trash outside by the back door and the trash can in the men's room was overflowing. However it appeared that they had just been through a pretty good lunch rush and they were working on cleaning things up.

I like this little store because it has almost the same feeling as the old units in the 70s did and in the mid-80s McDonald's was my first job.

On my current diet about the only thing I can eat at McDonald's is the grilled chicken fillet with no bread. They need to cook some and I did not mind waiting for one hot off the grill. I'm not sure if there are actually two different Blaze that they use but the one I received was cooked well with some sauteed onions around...

Beware ordering in the app. You may end up paying for food you'll never receive. You won't get a refund either. I ordered a frappe and fries after work and when I came to get it via drive thru they began my order but when I made it up there the machine is down. This is an often occurrence. I ask for a refund and I'm told to cancel in app and in the app it says you can't cancel once they've started it. I go inside to make someone aware of the situation and all I'm met with it "oh we don't know nothing about that." I asked for a manager and she told me "they gonna tell you the same thing." I reached out to corporate about the situation and they said it's up to the store i ordered it from to refund it. And that they reached out to the store to tell them. As a local, I can say that this particular McDonald's has some rude staff. The young girl in the drive thru window for mornings is rude, and short with customers and has an overall nasty attitude. There are a few of the staff that are nice and courtesy but the majority of the staff could care less if you get waited on or not. I have been there recently when only two people were working in the mornings and the next crew was showing up whenever they wanted and at whatever pace they wanted. This particular store needs a revamp in their staff, training in customer service. It is one of the few eating establishments in town and it's customer service...
