Krystal Restaurants Puerto Rico — Restaurant in Canóvanas

I'm from Georgia (USA) and Krystal is very popular there. I was telling my friends about how Krystal is so similar to White Castle. So today my friends and I went to the Krystal in the Outlet 66 mall.

I was expecting a similar experience to the Krystal's we have in Georgia....however, when my friends and I received our food the quality and presentation was very low.

The patties of the burgers were not in squares as Krystal and White Castle burgers normally are.

The cheese was not melted and was cut into triangles that hung out of both sides of the burger.

There were no onions, pickles, or mustard on the burgers.

It seemed as though the buns were not steamed, because the burgers were very dry.

Compared to the quality of food I'm accustomed to in the southern USA, this Krystal was really low quality.

Today we visited Mall 66’s food court at Canóvanas. All the fast food establishments were packed except Krystal. It was weird that Krystal had no clients in the line, but my wife decided to try it. The place’s presentation was decent, but sadly, the food quality was not. The meat in the mini hamburgers was thinner than a ham slice, and it was bland and soggy with the overflow of mustard. The chicken parties were overdone and hollow. The fries with cheese on the top were mediocre, and the chilli was unedible. We all had a bad aftertaste after a few hours and, in my case, indigestion. Where to begin... Didn't even had the chance to taste the food. Ordered a 2 chicks combo (number 5 on the menu) and after a long wait they served me the wrong food. Of course the cashier insisted that I was served what I ordered which is sooo not true. Well after much, waiting and watching the ladies in the kitchen fumble with the food I decided to ask for a refund and that also took a very long time because they lost my order.
