This shop is so cute. The inside is clean and well maintained. The case of donuts looks fresh and inviting.
The woman who was attending the counter said she's been renting the storefront for two months. I really hope people start going here because their donuts are better than anything I've had in Amarillo or Dumas.
I ordered a ham, egg and cheese croissant for $4, and an apple fritter to take home for $2. The apple fritter is one of the best I've ever had. Top tier for sure. After I'd already ordered I noticed something called a Jalapeño Wrap Dog which I can only guess is a hot dog with jalapeños wrapped up in deliciousness. Only one donut shop that we have been to is a close second and that shop was in Bullard, TX. The size of the donuts and all their eats are larger than any shop we ever ate at as well. The donuts are not too sweet (as some make them) and have a moist cake quality; that we like. Kudos to Canadian Donuts, I am only sorry you are over 450 miles away or I would...
