We went here on a Saturday night. Typically Saturday night clubs are packed so when we got there shortly after 9:00 we were surprised to see that there was plenty of seating available. This is an open parking lot in a shopping center. There is security at the front as well as a metal detector that you walk through. Your bags will be inspected by the gentleman at the door. There is a window for payment but I guess we got there before they were charging which is good because I definitely would have been disappointed having to pay $15 to enter an empty Club. They do stamp your hand at the door, not sure why there was no explanation but I'm guessing so you can re-enter? This is a very nice size and large club. It has a small space in the middle of the dance floor where you can dance on an elevated floor and then there's the regular Dance Floor all around that. There are tables all around the dance floor and then there are also some booths on one side of the restaurant. There are a couple of bars as well as what appears to be a stage, not sure what is used for because it was not in use the night we went. There were a couple of groups celebrating birthday parties and that was the majority of people in attendance. I didn't mind it being so empty because that meant I had plenty of room on the Dance Floor plus there wasn't the usual bumping into people at a club when it is packed. We did have a server for our table and it was normal service. Obviously with music playing very loud you have to make sure you're speaking into your server's ear so they can hear you and you can hear them. The food was pretty standard for a club but definitely easy to eat. It wasn't impressive but there was nothing wrong with the food as well, it came out hot and it didn't take too long. The drinks were pretty standard for a club environment. The food and drinks were very reasonable, my mail and my one drink was right around 20 or $25. You definitely can dress casual which is refreshing but some people were dressed to the nines while other people had on tennis shoes and jeans. Very casual and laid back spot. The DJ was a little questionable as they jumped from one genre of music to another genre of music with no smooth transition. Usually a DJ will play a few Bass songs and then maybe R&B songs and then maybe step songs. This DJ would play one song for Bass and then it'd be an R&B song and then it'd be a line dance song and then it'd be a rap song and then it'd be another bass song, just felt like the DJ was all over the place so people would get up and be dancing to the song and then because the genre of the song changed people would sit down because it was a totally different vibe. It wasn't horrible but it was hard to stay on the dance floor because you didn't know what type of music was going...
Read moreIm giving bolts a solid 3. Parking wasnt limited but if you arent there early youll have to park in the back or across the street on the side of the building. If you arrive before 10 you get in free. I appreciate the size of the establishment as well as the convenience of having multiple bars. But in the same light, if you dont get there early enough or reserve one of their booths you will be standing all night. Also their drinks are very high for the very small amount of liquor you get. We paid 70 dollars in drinks and over 25 in tips which is just shy of 100 bucks for what would be the equivalent of less than half of a half of pint of liquor. You read that right.....LESS than half of a half of pint (not half a pint....Half of a HALF of pint). It was robbery as far as the drinks are concerned. The DJ was ok. Took him a while to warm the crowd up but once he did, the dancefloor pretty much stayed packed. He could have let some songs play longer and not have played others at all but he did his thing.
The crowd came to party and thats what they did. I will be back I have learned a lot so that I am better prepared the next time. All in all, I enjoyed myself and really look forward to partying here again.

Read moreHad birthday party at club bolts in January. Great D.J but cut off great songs to fast. A song may play 20 seconds then he on to the next. I had a section for my party which came with wings, a cheap bottle of champagne and a waitress. When i got to the club i had to go and find the owner so i could get to my section. REALLY!!! Not the other way around. Once i arrived i should have been seated by my waitress or by another member of staff. I dont drink champagne and i couldnt even switch out for a bottle of liquor or even beer. Then bottles are 250 which is way to much. I couldnt even get a deal on the bottles even with having a section. Lastly, night ending. Im walking my guest out to Uber's and cars etc., waitress followers me outside for more money. I was like sweetie i said i got u, its no need to follow me to the parking lot. She already received a 30 dollar tip which came with booking the section. We made the best of the night though. This spot could be major. D.J great, food great. We get better service out the owners/managers with bottle pricing for V.I.P people. Better customer service with the pre-paid waitress. It...
