Casey's — Restaurant in Cannon Falls

I love Casey's pizza and this was my first try at this location. When Casey's is good, it's great, but when it's not, it's still pretty good. There is one continuous issue at different locations with their pizza. It's OFTEN undercooked. The problem is that they cook a supreme pizza for the same amount of time as a cheese pizza. It doesn't take a 5 star chef to understand that when there are more toppings on a pizza, you have to cook it a little longer. This should be really drilled into the training curriculum of staff. Some locations will have a common sense driven employee who will do this. Cannon Falls was not that location today. It was undercooked and the cheese was white as snow with no golden color to be found anywhere. The crust was soggy and 20% raw. Even though it was way more gross than it could've/should've been, it was still Casey's therefore okay. I only go to Casey's for pizza. I have the good locations noted and whenever I'm within 15 miles, I'll go. This one did not make the list. If you order a pizza like supreme or meat lover's or whatever, make sure you call them and ask them to cook it as couple minutes longer. It's common sense, yes, but still needs to be in requested. I hope this gets to the cashier and I can find a way to repay him. I'm 2.5 hours from home and have been in the car since 7 this morning with my cranky 3 year old and her dad. I stopped at this location on my way home for an energy drink and a sandwich to snack on and wake me up as I can feel how heavy my eyes are at this point. I pumped gas prior to going in and my card declined multiple times, I am completely embarrassed as I knew I had more than enough funds to cover it all. There was a line of people behind me, he could've just told me tough luck and let me walk but he offered to pay the difference. He said he'd consider it his dinner. I can't thank him enough for this and wish I could find a way to repay him. You have no idea how much that truly meant, with how messed up this world is today, he was kind enough to so graciously offer his own funds. I got to my car and got an alert from my bank.. as I'm 2.5 hours away from home, they had locked my card thinking it was fraud. I was already struggling and his kind gesture truly went a long way. This place is right on my way to Rochester and I have stopped several times in the past, after today I won't be stopping here anymore. Kelly and another gal were working today, I stopped for snacks and cigarettes, the line was almost out the door but the girls working were to busy oggling a man pumping gas and going on about how great he was and so good looking etc. I stood in line for over 15 minutes. Finally got to the counter and asked for my cigarettes twice but they didn't hear me because they were so interested in the guy pumping gas. It was like watching 2 teenage girls. No one is ever busy helping customers., they are to busy gabbing etc. I won't be going back, there is a great convenience store further down the road. Save your time and don't stop in Cannon Falls, worst place on 52 for gas etc. Nothing changes for the better...
