Subway — Restaurant in Canton

Whenever I’m in Canton, MA, and in need of a quick bite to eat, I make it a point to stop be the SUBWAY sandwich shop in the Rocky’s ACE Hardware plaza on Washington Street. Unlike some other eateries (and even some other Subway locations), the food here is consistently fresh and tasty, the walls, tables, floors and rest rooms are consistently clean, and the staff are always cordial and welcoming (and, if you take the time to get to know them, about as warm and friendly) as anyone could ever hope for. In fact, two of the superstars of their crew have become friends of mine and my wife’s, and we look forward to seeing them each time we visit.

I’m really disappointed with my recent order from Subway. My sandwich only had about two and a half pieces of meat, which is completely unacceptable. When I asked for more, the staff tried to charge me double — even though the portion I received was far below what it should’ve been. My wife ordered a chicken salad sandwich. They took chicken cubes, dropped them on the bread, then squirted far too much of mayo on top of it. That's not how to make chicken salad. About a third of the lettuce in the cold bin was brown. They didn't drain the pickles or banana pepper before putting them in the sandwich, so the bread became a soggy mess. It was just bad.
