This is my favorite place in Cape Charles. We visited 3 times in one week! The couple that owns it are from Rome, Italy, are incredibly welcoming, and the dishes very authentic. The wine list is well curated and they’re very knowledgeable with recommendations. They also have mixed drinks, my daughters loved the espresso martinis and aperol spritz. I tried to get photos of our dishes as everything is plated so beautifully however once the dish landed most were eaten too quickly! My personal menu favorites are the burrata (with truffle), meatballs, tiramisu, and lemon cake. This was our first visit to Cape Charles, we stayed 9 nights so we tried every restaurant and this was the clear winner. It’s very small so arrive early when they open or call to get a reservation.

Paul and Josephine are wonderful, and cooked up a taste of everything on offer today. The menu is kept small and changes every few days depending on what is fresh and in season. This was easily the best meal I have had in Cape Charles, and just might justify more frequent trips from Richmond.
