Gourmet Latte FL#1 — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Okay so I'm going to say that I usually do not write reviews unless I feel like the company deserves it. There are not a lot of selections here in Cape Coral Florida for coffee. I think I found three options or choices besides dunkin' donuts thats it. I know sad I'm a coffee connoisseur I absolutely love my coffee I spend at least $50 a day on coffee easily. The places I usually go are Urban buzz and Starbucks and even though their staff is wonderful I'm tired of same Starbucks taste and only so many options on flavors and drinks. So I thought let's find a new place. So I looked up coffee in Cape Coral the first place that comes up is Gourmet Latte with a 4.8 rating so I read every single review before I even went and I was very impressed with the reviews about how many flavors and options they have and about how kind and polite the staff is and about how they're very patient and tell you about all the flavors they have at this a little blue coffee stand gourmet latte on Hancock in Cape Coral Florida. I was very shocked to see that Gourmet latte has a better rating than Urban buzz coffee also I wanted to mention that the last time I went to Urban buzz coffee the girl referred me to Gourmet latte because she knows I live so far in North Cape Coral and urban buzz is in South Cape Coral so I wanted to point this out too very kind of her so I also have a recommendation plus I read the reviews. I was so excited I got my purse and practically ran down there to get treated SO RUDELY: ( Okay so first there is a guy at the walk up window and one guy parked on the side waiting for his drinks I sat there for at least 20 minutes waiting patiently which was no big deal especially with the great reviews! So I get to the window finally and the blonde older lady comes to the window says "what can I get for you" as I still have the reviews fresh in my mind I said well mam this is my first time here and so I really am not sure I have a couple questions she exhaled loudly and seemed aggravated at my question and says said hold on a moment she was holding a cup and something from a blender from the drink she just made and she says "I'll be right back" and she goes to the back and starts washing the cups out. Cool okay so I sit there a little bit longer finally she comes back to the window and she says "what's your question" (in a snippety, I'm tired of being here type of attitude way) and I say well "what drinks have espresso in them?" she says "every single one of them" and I looked at her in surprise and I said "oh really even the Italian sodas have espresso in them?"I asked this question because my kids like Italian espressos and they cannot have coffee and she looked at me like I was dumb and immediately had an attitude and says obviously not! I said I usually like iced mochas or lattes or frappuccinos but sometimes the blended drinks are named something different at different stands so I didn't know what to call them. Her reaction and how she treated me was SO RUDE I said to her.... "Mam you have a nice day" and I drove off I just couldn't believe the difference between the reviews that I read and actually how I was treated. Obviously the reviews on this site have got to be either fake or planted or I don't know because that's definitely not how I was treated especially after having a referral and all of the references from the other reviewers and having to wait for so long I am really bummed me out because I was so excited just to be let down : ( 👎 There's no way I would ever give them a 4.8 rating EVER!!! I'm FLABBERGASTED to read these reviews! MAYBE IF SHE WAS NICER TO PEOPLE Y'ALL WOULD GET MORE BUSINESS

This is such a cute little place. This is a drive through and walk up only location. There are a few tables to sit outside which all have beautiful views. If you’re looking for a coffee place that has a bunch of unique options, you will find it here! There are several non dairy milk options as well. You can also find some food options as well. There are some bakery vegan options as well. They were short staffed when we went and comped a breakfast sandwich which I thought was great. I just ordered a traditional iced latte with caramel and oat milk, it’s not the best coffee I ever had but it was good....

This place is the best. The staff is always so kind and so helpful. Their Hawaiian swirl and banana bread iced lattes are actual perfection. They cost about the same as Starbs, but way better coffee and a large w them gets you way more than a venti at Starbucks. The only complaint I have is they forget my whipped cream almost every time, but if you just remind them they always fix it right away w no issues. Definitely my fav place to get coffee...
