Tamu Cupcakery — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Honestly, just take your business elsewhere. Customer service is terrible, and they got mad about me asking questions. I’m doing a Cocomelon theme for my son, and she estimated around $107 for the cake, but didn’t want to send any pictures of what it would look like. No one blindly buys cakes without seeing what they’re going to look like. I don’t know them, so why would I take their word for it? If you don’t like your questions answered, go here.

edit: to respond, I never said no, as you can see in the screenshot of our email. You also suggested the watermelon cake. I would assume, because YOU brought it up, that you have made that cake before or have an idea that you could've shared with me. Googling cocomelon watermelon cake brings up many pictures that don't all look alike. So you could've easily shown me a similar design that you were comfortable with to create. I said, and I quote, "Okay, I'll probably just go with the cake. I'm checking your website, but I don't see an example of the Cocomelon watermelon cake. Would you be able to send me what it would look like?" That's when you responded very rudely to my message. OUTSTANDING! INCREDIBLY DELICOUS!! TO DIE FOR!!!

We needed a vegan cake over the holiday period where there is a rush on bakeries and closures as they celebrate the holidays too.

We found this place in nearby by scouring through reviews to find vegan options at local places.

It was OUTSTANDING!! The cake was beautiful (toppers were ours) and executed on theme perfectly with only a verbal of colors over the phone. They were super helpful in taking our late request and were very kind and helpful at all touch points (confirmation call and pick up). She said they were too booked up to do a custom cake, but they could do my requested colors.

But beyond that, the cake was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!! Moist with a good crumb still, not always the case with vegan (IYKYK). The icing was TO DIE FOR! Perfect texture and not oily, again, not a given with vegan cakes. The frosting was also sweet, but not overly so, which is even more incredible.

The baker is truly talented and I can't wait to get more cape from her in the future!

10/10. After having a horrible experience with the Publix bakery I looked up local cake spots and am so happy that I found Tamu Cupcakery. I needed a cake to reveal the gender of my partner’s and I first baby, so obviously a very exciting moment for us. From the moment they answered the phone I knew this was the perfect place. So kind hearted and patient as I was scrambling trying to find someone to get this done before I got off work in the next couple hours. I called at 11 and they said they could have it done by 3. If that’s not costumer service I don’t know what is! I asked for a plain white small cake just for 2 people with the color in the middle, something simple. You could imagine my excitement when I go to pick it up and the baker said she hopes I don’t mind that she decided to decorate it for me. LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING. Of course I didn’t mind. The cake was perfect and I just couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you so much for making this moment memorable for us and you have definitely found a loyal costumer for life...
