January 2019 Wingnuts Pub & Grub, Del Prado Blvd. Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. This time I was lazy and ordered home delivery thru yelp/grubhub. I got a chili dog w/cole slaw & wings and fries. Ordering was easy though the full menu was not on yelp. Using paypal was good too. Delivering was quick and easy 30 minutes instead of the estimate 40-50 minute time spam. Plus having the option of using cash for the tip of driver. Kudos. Now the rave/rant on the food. The cole slaw was crunchy, tasty, not overly wet. My dog was a good size ,cooked fine with onion as requested. BUT ...The chili was HORRIBLE... I have had better can chili from *almart. It was not hot, no cumin, plain tomatoe sauce like it was from ketchup. I am not a wing eater. But I tried the house specialty. WINGS with ranch dressing. I order 6 wings and a side. NO RANCH DRESSING. I thought a dressing was included with my order. I got warmed fries of sorts. But fried food tends to get soggy when it travels. My bad. I thought I was getting 6 full size wings...I got 2/3 each from 3 chicken wings. All of the wing tips were missing...One portion of a body part does not make a full wing. I will say they were tasty & on the meaty side. The menu here is too big. They need to concentrate on their core foods Wingnuts Pub & Grub, Del Prado Blvd, S Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my food and chatter. I am not a wing person...Especially since they do not give the full wing any more. Wingnuts give you the present day style of wings plus a WHOLE LOT more. Fried bologna sandwich, house made tater tots & deep fried twinkle to Name a few. If they don't have it it has never been made yet. I got the Philly cheese steak and Cole slaw. $11 bucks. I must say it tasted good. The side, Cole slaw was only standard fare. But the size of the buns were smaller than I wished for. Though I will applaud them. They did stuffed and fill them as much as possible. Plus considering the 100 items & combination of food it is really staggering. The menu is reall TOO big.... If you cannot find something to eat. You are too picky. Service was great.

From start to finish one of the best experiences I have had out at a wing spot. Kelly was our server and she was great. We tried 4 different sauces :Apesh!t,Mellon Ball,Sweet Chilli, and the Jamaican Jerk dry rub. All were extremely satisfying. The decor was bright and interesting to look at. The tables are great for two people but I could see a problem if a party of 4 were to order multiple sauces. The old pacman game was a sight to see. That brought back some great memories. The prices were fare 34.00 for 20 wings with 3 refills of an awesome sweet tea and a bottled water. As the sauses are made from scratch daily by the owner, the choices are endless. I highly recommend WingNuts for your wing cravings. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe of crispy wings in the best of sauces I have ever had.

We wanted some wings and we visited this establishment. Dana our server was professional and courteous, she also checked on us during our visit. The wings are large and so are the tenders. Could us a little more seasoning but very good. The wedge fries tasted plain and had to have the cook re-fry them because they weren't cooked all the way. This was the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. They have clean bathrooms and the restaurant has a great decor. There's a lot of interesting items on the walls that are great to view. We have to return and try some thing else on the menu, maybe a burger or Philly cheesesteak. They have a great beer from Louisiana (Abita) that I liked a lot.

Came in and bought $100.00s in wings and drinks. Stopped at family's house to eat. Out of the 75 wings, 45 of them were not at all as dictated.

The Honey Mustard was watered-down mustard, and had a hint of honeys within a mix of 30 wings.

The Pineapple Teriyaki was very pungent with soy sauce and no savory of pineapple not sweet teriyaki within 15 wings.

I called and spoke calmly and respectfully to the waitress and disclosed my concern. She placed me on hold and came back to tell me that the owner said he would gladly trade them, so I said okay let me think.

Next thing you know, the guy comes on the phone claiming to be the owner and doesn't even ask me anything; he just starts to talking "AT" me.

Owner: "Sir. I don't know what your problem is, but please excuse me for being frank but we've never had anyone ever complain about our House Famous Honey Mustard Wings, and spectacular Pineapple Teriyaki. Honestly, we are family restaurant ad take pride in our food.

'WE ARE NOT LIKE SOME CIRCLE K WHERE YOU CAN BUY A HEINEKEN AND RETURN IT BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE IT. WE CANT CONTROL WHAT YOU TASTE!'"

At this point I'm at shock and responded calmly.

Me: "First off sir, I'm glad you take pride in your food, but who might want to hire to kitchen staff. I was willing to take a swap of the wings or even take a credit because it's late and give it to my family up here in the Cape, but after your blatantly rude comments to a customer, who at no point ever asked for money.

Sir, my family has own a 24/7 restaurant for over 60 years and both my wife and I have cooked for a combination of both 40 years, and worked with Food Network personally for competitions of which we have won.

So, since you stand by your wings, let me gladly bring you back your product and have you taste these wings for yourself. If you love them, keep them and my money.

He said he can't because of his heart but can have some else eat them. I said: What type of owner can't have his own wings of pineapple teriyaki and Honey mustard.

You best believe I'm driving back to not only get money, but to see him eat his product! I get there right as they are closing and trying to leave right at 10pm and everyone was outside closing the door.

I asked the kind waitress who served me who the owner was and she said he had left, but the kitchen manager was outside with the goatee. I go outside and talk with this man and he acted as if I didn't know who the hell he was, but listened. I asked him to try his product.

Next thing you know, the younger manager who claimed to be the owner gives me back my money in an envelope and tells me here, just a leave.

Gets in his car, and drives off.

I wish Ramsey can come here and put this family to shame for their overly salted soy sauce in the teriyaki sauce, and watered...

I've been going to this place for some time now with my co-workers for lunch. Had some hiccups here and there but nothing like today. When we arrived it wasn't crowded. We asked the waitress will it take long she said NO. Well after sitting there for over 40 minutes we asked how much longer she said a few minutes. It takes 25 minutes to cook chicken. So I nicely asked her can they put it in a box to go? She came back at 1250 with our checks but no food. When the food came out my salad was all messed up the wing box had a whole in it and the sauce was dripping out everywhere. When I told her that my order was wrong she bought back another salad that I didnt order either it had bacon and cheese on it (which I don't eat) the wings were soggy and undercooked. So I told her that I'm not happy and I didnt want the food. The owner came out and said next call and order because I cant stop cooking just for you. I never asked this man to do such thing. It takes time to cook the food I said I understand that but the service and treatment we got was ridiculous. He blamed everything on the waitress and since we came in with our scrubs he said he was going to call our manager because he knows him. O_0 I didnt understand that statement because we were very nice. So being that we use to go there 2-3 times a week because of the distance we will just travel for better quality and better service. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I WORK TOO HARD FOR MY MONEY TO GO DOWN THE DRAIN FOR THAT KIND OF TREATMENT.

In response to the "owner" We came in at 12:05 we asked if it would take long and we were told no. We asked what was going on with the food numerous times. Each time we were told it's coming up in a few minutes. My only problem that we get the same exact thing and it never took that long. By the time we got the orders it was all wrong. The wings were soggy and my salad wasn't what I ordered among other things. I felt like you handle the situation all wrong. As a business owner you beat us mad by telling us that you were going to call our boss. You have cameras pull the footage. I stay bless so God bless you as well. No hard...
