A Truly Exceptional Experience at Outback in Cape Coral!
I had the most incredible experience at the Outback in Cape Coral, all thanks to two amazing individuals: Steven, the store manager, and Sara, the waitress. I was initially a bit confused upon arriving, but by the end of the evening, I was so grateful that I felt compelled to write this review.
Hereâs what happened: I arrived early in the evening and took a seat at a booth. Sara approached me with a bright, welcoming smile and took my order for a Stella, a decision steak, salad, and, of course, some of their famous bread. She immediately got to work on my order. I went to wash my hands in the restroom, and upon returning, I found another couple sitting at my table. It was a funny situation because I looked like Iâd just finished working at a construction site, but the gentleman sitting there jokingly asked if I was his waiter!
Confused, I went to the front desk to explain the situation. To my relief, Steven, the store manager, came over right away. He was incredibly professional, apologetic, and immediately worked to make the situation right. He made me feel comfortable and reassured that everything would be taken care of.
Even though there were no tables available, Sara quickly found a small one that needed cleaning, and she took care of it right away. After both Steven and Sara apologized multiple times, I was able to order my food, and the experience turned out to be wonderful.
When I finished my meal, I asked for the bill and was astonished when Sara, with her big beautiful smile, told me that Steven had taken care of everythingâhe decided not to charge me at all.
This act of kindness really impacted me. Itâs clear that both Steven and Sara are more interested in making customers happy than simply making a sale, which is rare in todayâs world.
I will definitely continue visiting Outback in Cape Coral because of this experience. Steven and Sara are a true asset to this location, and Iâm deeply grateful for how they turned a confusing situation into one of the best dining experiences Iâve ever had.
Thank you again, Steven and Sara. Wishing you the best of success at this...
Read moreA little unusual we visited there today for lunch and we have eaten at Outbackâs many many times and have never had poor service or a bad meal , Where are generally an easy family to serve? There was only three of us today, Not a huge complicated order.. There are many booths open, and we were sat all the way in the back where the staff comes out to serve food, Our waitress seemed tired, and not very attentive, except to fill up our drinks, Blooming onion was delicious! My French onion soup was scalding hot, it was so scolding hot hard it was hard to taste and enjoy it , along with a dirty spoon that I returned to a Girl, serving a beer in passing, I did take notice that the waitress was more attentive to the people behind us, I had a prime rib sandwich which was very good. My grandson had a grilled cheese french fries the normal, My husband ordered the outback burger well done , It came back a little rare, but very mushy sloppy.. to the texture of it he had like a reflux from it , I did let waitress And they said they would like to Comp with a dessert which we were OK with, We generally never complain.. But we waited a very long time, even after paying the bill for the dessert to come, She did walk past me and say it should be up shortly and then it was another like 10 minutes⊠so my husband went to the restroom and we were still waiting , So we just decided to leave and on the way out, the hostess was standing there and we did tell her she asked us which booth and we told her. Please always make sure you look at your bill. She gave us the device to swipe card and when we looked at the paper bill, when you wanted to put in your tip on the bill itâs at 18% was $11 and some change but when you put your card in The device the 18% jump to $13. .. this was the outback on skyline, and I donât think that we would be returning there. We have never had poor experiences at...

I never thought Iâd be scammed at a restaurant, but here we are. I recently took a friend out for dinner at Outback Steakhouse in Cape Coral, and we both ordered bone-in ribeye steaksâspecifically because we wanted that extra juiciness.
When the steaks arrived, there was no bone. Our server, Olivia, stopped by to check on us, and we pointed it out. She agreed and asked if we wanted different steaks, but we didnât want to wait, so we decided to eat what was served. Unfortunately, the steaks were a bit dry and I forgot to ask them to go easy on the seasoning, which they tend to overdo.
Later, the manager, Matt, came by to ask if everything was okay. Since we had already decided to eat the steaks, we told him there was no issue. But when the check arrived, we noticed that we were charged for the bone-in ribeye, even though thatâs not what we received.
I asked Olivia if she could adjust the price since there was a $4 difference per steak, and she agreed. Thatâs when Matt returned to the table again, asking if there was a problem. We explained the situation, and he told us that when he stopped by earlier, we should have said something then. He also claimed that there are two types of bone-in steaks and different sizes, but when I asked to see the menu, I couldnât find anything about thatâand Olivia never mentioned it either.
At that point, I asked if he was going to adjust the check, and he said no.I told him fine, I just wouldnât come back, and he was perfectly fine with that. I still left Olivia an 18% tip, but Iâm honestly shocked that they were willing to lose customers over $8!
I just hope this doesnât happen to anyone else, so I thought Iâd better write a review. Goodbye, Outback Steakhouse in Cape Coral on Skyline Blvd.I was hoping youâd be my new go-to steakhouse, but...
