We were there, this year Veteran day weekend. It has an open floor plan, so if you are looking for privacy this is not the place. The food was mediocre, being from India I can tell , it doesn't tastes anything like our authentic food, It's Creamy & they use too much Butter. There was nothing special.DO NOT EAT @Nepalrestaurant@CO-hwy-82 at Glenwood Springs - the waitress (Indian Lady) was not friendly and courteous with us. When we arrived she did not introduce herself or welcomed us. When she served the food she did not wish us to enjoy the food. We had a question, she talked to us from a far away table. While having food she never asked us how the food was, before we even finished eating, she got our check without checking if we needed anything else. When I gave my CC, she swiped and put the folder on the table - she told me "sign". But with other tables she was very friendly, polite and courteous. We wanted complain to Manager - but some fellow table customer told us the Waitress is herself the manager #racist #attitude #unfriendly #rude. Food Review : Chicken Tikka Masala: Had to wait a while for chicken tikka masala, when we got it, it was cold. Like they just finished cooking the chicken, but put it in older tikka masala sauce. Other than the temperature issue, it was just ok. Chicken seemed a little overly charred and the tikka masala sauce was a bit bland. Mattar Paneer: The paneer had the texture of deep fried tofu, not the typically squishy fresh paneer texture I'm used to.It seemed a little light on the gravy though. Naan: Some parts had that nice mix of crispy charred bubbles and chewy bread. Other parts seemed overly yeasty and a bit...
Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant while on vacation from Tampa, FL, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly delicious, with flavors that left me craving more. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The owner, who hails from Nepal, was especially sweet and made us feel right at home. After four days of searching for good food, this restaurant won my heart, and I would eagerly go back again. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and delicious cuisine with a side of warm hospitality.
In addition to the delicious food and friendly staff, this restaurant also boasts a unique feature: robot servers! My son was absolutely captivated by this futuristic touch, adding an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. It's not often you get to enjoy a meal served by robots, and it definitely added to the fun for our family. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to...
Read moreWhat should i say about this place.I am from NJ where you can get best Indian food. But i was not expecting this to happen to find such an awesome restaurant in Colorado and that also in Aspen/Carbondale/Snowmass Area.First experience that its right on CO-82 so no need to get into downtown . Second the host/whole staff were wonderful or i would say best owners who take utmost care of yourself and your food as it seems they enjoy guest and do their best to fulfil guest's expectation. Third food is really delicious and superb taste and i can rate it as best food i had in US.(I tried only veg options like Momo's Birayni Daal Maharani , Paneer and Aloo Mirchi ( best Aloo subji i ever had).As its owner say that they do not do business for money only but they guest to have best taste of food. Fifth the Price so i would say if i had ordered same menu then i would have got 40% more bill in other parts. So anyone want to have the Indian food in that area then don't miss...
