Subway — Restaurant in Carmel

I want to start by saying that I have used this specific Subway for catering orders for several events over the years and unfortunately, they allowed a situation with one sandwich to sour things. I ordered a toasted sandwich for pickup at 1:10pm through the Subway app but received a notification that my sandwich was ready for pickup at 12:45pm. I arrived at 1:10 as I said I would and what do you think happened to my sandwich in those 25 minutes? It was soggy, cold, and generally unpleasant to eat. I gave them several opportunities over email with the franchise owner over to make up for the situation to which my requests were ignored. I contacted corporate but was told the franchise owner ignoring me had the final say and that they would send him an email seeking a reply. The franchise owner never responded. This is the exact reason that Subway is nosediving as a business: corporate not getting involved and saturation of the market. I will take my business onto a better subway and I would suggest you consider doing the same if you want true customer service.

Also it seems a little shady that one of the favorable five star reviews from below is from a gentleman with the same unique last name as the franchise owner. It could be coincidence but is...

I am no big fan of Subway, but this place really stands out as being truly awful. We don't eat here very often but every single time, the bread is awful, the amount of meat is borderline non-existent, everything else tastes like its day old salad bar items, the entire experience is just awful.

My most recent visit I ordered a rotisserie chicken sandwhich, but it was more like chicken crumbs. The cookie I got was so thin it was almost a chip. And for that, I had to pay a ridiculous amount. I could have gone to McD's and gotten a reasonable sandwich, fries and a coke for the what the one sandwich cost me.

Do yourself a favor, go to Rackz BBQ which is right over there and get ANYTHING there, it'll be MUCH better. Or any of the other restaurants in the area will be much better. I've definitely decided to put Subway in general and this location specifically on my 'So Bad Never Going Back' list of restaurants. Life is too short to pay for just...

I placed a pick up order. I wanted something quick on the way home from my 12 hour shift. When I got there, the lady asked me for my name as she was handing me my food. I said my name multiple times and spelled it. She said it was wrong and made me give my food back. After going back and forth and showing her my app with the order on it and reading it multiple times to her, she finally gave me my food back. After that, she handed me an empty cup and told me to go inside and fill it myself. I went in to do so, and she wasn't doing anything but standing around talking. There was no other customers in the restaurant except for one man eating his meal in the corner. I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so offput by this experience. When I saw that there were other negative reviews, I figured I should share my experience. Overall, the food was good, so I gave it a 2 star review rather than the 1 I initially planned on...
