Bokma Coffee Company — Restaurant in Carnesville

I've nothing but good things to say about Bokma Coffee Co. As soon as I walked in, I felt an awesomely cozy vibe- super earthy and chill.

When placing my order, the dude at the counter was patient with me while I worked through my indecisiveness as well as explaining how my wife like her coffee pretty sweet but not like TOO sweet and he understood the assignment (more on that later).

The Nutella twists were amazing, I love flaky pastry's and holy moly was it flaky! I had to hold it over the bag in to eat it -- that's a compliment! Also grabbed one of their protein bars which was also delicious (it was like a baked peanut butter oatmeal thingy with some type of fruit thingys inside of it, I don't know how to explain it, but it was really good!)

Now onto the main event, the coffee! It was excellent. I thought maybe they just do some sort of regular roast coffee so I was going to add a shot of espresso - the dude let me know that they make their iced latte's WITH espresso, so I decided not to add anymore, just a little honey in mine. My wife had the iced caramel latte (remember, sweet, but not TOO sweet?) and she said it was great! I am in agreeance with mine as well, the flavor of the coffee was great, ratio to milk was perfect. They're doing it right!

Love that this shop is local and I'm able to pop in before work and grab us some coffee and pastry's to help make our day a little lighter while feeling an inner peace with the cozy ambiance and atmosphere.

This visit was a total unplanned stop. But what a great experience!! The service was incredible. The coffees and hot chocolate were delicious as were the crinkle cookies and hand pies! The shop itself was so well done. Games, comfy couches, large/small tables. The decor made you feel like they’ve been waiting for you like an old friend! ❤️ The staff totally took this visit to way above a five star rating! They engaged with my grandchildren who were very excited to share about their new baby brother. They went above and beyond to celebrate this exciting time with us and even sent lattes home for mom and dad. This type of service and kindness isn’t a business plan. It’s “who” they are! I will make this my go to for anything coffee, or food related! They had a great sandwich/meal menu as well as breakfast. If it’s half as good as what we had today, it will be awesome!! High quality & delicious food at very reasonable prices. Great portion sizes! (my pictures are of only half because my husband and I split a sandwich.) We got the turkey bacon sandwich toasted and the "baked potato" potato salad. Both items were VERY good!

Literally had the best chocolate chip cookie (I think I've ever had in my whole life 😄🤤) We bought two more to go.

My husband and I travel alot and some places in these smaller towns get the atmosphere right, but don't get the quality of food right or vice-versa, but Bokma hit all the marks for me. Very clean, good food at very fair prices. I definitely recommend...
