My friend and I came to visit this restaurant from a review we saw on TikTok. The expectations were high when we arrived. The customer service from the waitresses was pretty decent. Once we got our food, we tasted the pancakes and they were dry and overcooked. I took two bites from one pancake and i explained to the waitress that I didn’t enjoy my food. I ordered a side of potatoes instead. Once I received my bill, I asked if the pancakes could be taken off since I didn’t eat them and the server took the pancakes away from the table. It was out of our waitresses control so they asked the owner to come talk to us. Immediately he came down with a very mean and unpleasant attitude. We explained the situation to him and he told us that he didn’t care if we didn’t like the food. The only thing that matters is if we ordered it, then we need to pay for it. We asked him if he could comp the meal or even 50%. He explained that we don’t understand how a business is run and customer satisfaction is not his priority because ultimately he’d be losing money. If a customer doesn’t like their meal, they still have to pay for it. Honestly, it wasn’t even the fact that he wasn’t willing to give a refund because as I business owner, I understand policies. The issue was more so his demeanor and attitude when speaking to us. He told us we were “making a scene,” but he was the only one speaking loudly. He told us that this isn’t the U.S, it’s Puerto Rico and he could run his business however he wanted to. I’d give the food a 4/10. If you are traveling and want to come here for food, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it as a first choice. We did receive our food quickly and they were very punctual in taking our orders. The customer service from the...
Read moreWe were exited for this place as the pictures and reviews were great. It looks like it has a cool atmosphere. We walked in and waited at the door for minutes while staff ignored us. Asked if we could sit down at the empty table and were told to wait. Waited a few minutes and then asked again, they finally let us sit down at the empty table. The coffee was very good I have to admit it. My Tripleta sandwich was not, very dry. My wife had the eggs Florentine which she enjoyed, but they were a little bit skimpy with the amount of smoked salmon. The Greek salad that we ordered to share arrived with no dressing on it, to which we asked for olive oil and balsamic on two separate times. We also asked for mayonnaise and we were told to wait for a second, but ended up having to ask for it again 15 minutes later. Unfortunately we had to also remind them of the other drinks we had ordered (water and Pepsi). Overall, we waited an hour for the food to come, and if the service was better, this cafe would be a 3-4...
Read moreThe place? Beautiful!
The food? We ordered the guava toast (not at all like the picture, also very dry)
Also ordered the waffle sandwich. The chicken had no flavor and the waffles did not either.
Lemonade? Horrible sadly. Its fake lemonade with a bit of real lemon so it looks like a real lemonade. Service? We got served the wrong sandwich which can happen… but also I ordered a juice that I never received. They also have a orange juice maker, which does not work.
The atmosphere was amazing and the hot cocoa was amazing too, sadly the food did not have any flavor and it was dry. I am a big foodie, and it rarely happens that I go to a restaurant and never take whatever is left on my plate, but sadly, this was one of those places that I would not even take the food home. I recommend this place for an atmosphere. That is wonderful and having a coffee and a chat, but not to eat or...
