1 star because you can't give a review without giving a star. 45 minutes for 2 bacon egg and cheese on bread. Let that sink in for a minute. When I approached the counter, I realized they had not even put the order in yet. Not to mention the attitude I received because I am simply inquiring about my food at the 30 minute mark. When I finally received my food with no napkins, she didn't even say"sorry for the wait" or "have a nice day." Instead, she drops the food on the counter, turns around, and says, "I haven't eaten yet today," as she walked away....

I was born and raised in Carolina and also went to high school to the José M. Lázaro. I always went and visited the different bakeries Carolina used to offer, they had a lot. Some sadly closed as time passed but the ones that remained opened are not getting any good. La primera bakery has been established less than a year and it has become my go-to bakery/breakfast restaurant place, it has all the amazing things, service, good quality pastries and the best breakfasts...

Comida muy rico y gente amable. Tienen muchas opciones por desayuno y pan dulce. Super recomendable.

We ate here for breakfast today as we are here spending our last couple days visiting Puerto Rico nearby. Everything was delicious and the servings are generous. You'll have an easier time ordering if you speak Spanish, but the staff are all nice and welcoming. Lots of yummy sweet treats and bread in the case and plenty of breakfast and lunch options so there's sure to be something...
