Stopped in at D'Ellies on a rainy afternoon as my more shopping-inclined family members explored the surrounding options. For $2.50 I was able to grab a bottomless coffee with perhaps the coolest coffee cup sleeve I have ever seen (that will double as my only souvenir memory from the trip). The mom and daughter working were very kind and others in the family eventually enjoyed their own coffee and homemade brownies. Wonderful place to cozy up with a book or grab a quick and fresh bite to eat!

Picked up food from here 6 times within the 7 days that we were in the area and I’m not even ashamed of it. EVERYTHING on their menu is incredible. We tried the Sugarloafer (my favorite, try it on their focaccia!), Railslide, Avalanche paninis, and the breakfast sandwiches, including the smoked salmon one. Their pickup experience is also very quick and seamless. The members of the staff are also very nice. Would I come back for the 8th, or the 14th time? Yes.

We look forward eating at D’Ellies each year we come up to Sugarloaf. The sandwiches are delicious and worth writing home about. You just can’t get sandwiches or even breads like these where we live (the Middle East.) I recommend the Downhiller. I recommend D’Ellies overall as the shop is quaint and has a lot of character. The staff are always friendly and add to the experience. Perhaps it’s the water or mountain air.

At Dellie's, I had the best breakfast in my life. Okay, one of the best. I can't disrespect my homies at the Bayou Kitchen. But it was one of the best I have had in my life.

I almost don't know what else I can say. I don't remember what the breakfast was called. It was written in chalk on the menu. French toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast. Each better than the last. You can taste the quality of every ingredient. The bread was fresh baked that morning. The maple syrup tasted like it was tapped halfway up the mountain. I have a feeling the pig who laid down its life for my bacon was alive the week before I arrived.

I had the entire plate and could have had another. Absolutely sublime. For context, I usually have a cup of coffee and an orange for breakfast. Warm, cozy, and with gigantic picture windows to look out at the Bigelows, my breakfast at Dellie's was the best I could remember for a long long time.

I'll be back...

An hour wait for two sandwiches? And plenty of people got their food before we did who ordered after us.

Edit to add that we were there at 1:30 on Saturday, September 17th. After a half an hour and noticing that someone who ordered after us got their food first, I went up and asked how much longer we were expected to wait. They told us 10 mins (but it actually ended up being a half hour more) and that the paninis take longer to make which was why the wait was so long. We didn’t have time to eat inside because it took so long and so we left as soon as the sandwiches were done and they ended up being cold. We noticed a lot of other people getting...

My girlfriend and I tried to go here for breakfast. During the few minutes we were deciding what to order via there website, we had apparently missed the window to order breakfast by a minute! We called to see if they could still serve breakfast since it was only 11:01 and it says they serve breakfast until 11, but apparently their computers won't allow them to put in a breakfast order at that point. Having such a rigid system like that is insane! We just went home and had bagel and cream...
