We have dined in at this restaurant and have ordered online many times. Tonight I attempted to place an order online twice. Both times I received notice my order couldn’t be processed. Therefore, I ordered from another restaurant. I was looking through my emails and noticed that the order had actually gone through but once again from my end the information I received was contrary to this. Both my husband and I talked with the folks at the restaurant. The only thing they kept saying was my order was ready. They were completely unwilling to see their online ordering program was faulty. I was charged for the order. I will never be back despite having been a frequent patron. Horrible customer service!!
In response to owner: At no point in time were F bombs dropped. That is so fabricated! The only thing I asked your daughter to do is to stop talking and listen to what I’m saying. As in the initial review, it was your online system that wasn’t working and said the order hadn’t gone through. In no way could I have known it actually did. It was only after I happened to look at emails that I saw it did. We did try to settle this directly with you instead of a review. Instead of taking responsibility, I guess as a business owner it’s easier for you to call me a “Karen” . It’s your response that shows your lack of willingness as a business owner to settle matters appropriately. ...
Read moreWe gave been customers for three years and the experience used to be great. Esp. during the pandemic, they did a takeout- only service and timing was just fine. However, since reopening, both the timely service and overall quality of customer experience have dropped precipitously. Tonight I waited more than 75 minutes for 2 pastas and two apps, when we were told the pick-up time was 33 min. The restaurant was far from busy--and, in fact, started abruptly turning away customers after 7:20p. Several of us getting takeout orders expressed loud and public disapproval with the long wait (for relatively easy items). Owner/manager was dismissive and harried, telling me my "order would be out as soon as it's out." Several months ago, I called to express my concern that we were charged $7+ for a dessert that looked nothing like the impressive strawberry parfait in the website photo (instead, two fingers of a pale berry gelatin in a small plastic cup, with no cream topping or presentation whatsoever). I was told "I guess we'll just have to take photos off the website then" with a "this is why we can't have nice things" tone. As much as I hate to say it, this place has no longer earned our business. Go elsewhere until they can get their operation together again. Even if you have to drive an hour, you'll get your...
Read moreSeemed like a fantastic menu online, it looked amazing, all this authentic sounding good items from "Italia" and whatnot. Wrong. I have not had worse pizza in a long time and the staff were obviously no Italian food craftsmen. The staff barely acknowledged me when you enter for pickup. Clam linguini almost broke my teeth, pasta was so underdone I could have made it better myself. The pizza was supposed to have extra cheese but I can barely tell that there was enough cheese for just the first base coat. It tasted so much of Olives I felt like I was eating an olive bar and were so overcooked and so thin and tough. Being close to O'Ya and Town Hall Burger I thought it was gonna be another amazing food experience, O'Ya is some of the best food I've had in years but Capp's...I was so wrong and at such great expense, cuz this place is expensive. Village Pizza and Pasta is far superior to this place in every way. The best pizzas around here, I'm happy to say. Don't know what these Briar Chapel folk see in Capp's, except for the fact that it's close. Oh and to sneakily add an 18% gratuity tip on ALL takeout orders is ridiculous. Especially how I didn't see that at first so I tipped them twice for absolutely no reason....
