Today Starbucks was staffed with Harris Teeter employees, no Baristas avail. There was a long line and nobody knew why things took so long.......well, after 18 min. Waiting time to order our coffees I asked. I thought that was poor, but ok, I ordered........the employees were not able to mix certain drinks, not even a regular latte, no extras.......so, i ordered what i could, including a sandwich, for which the young man came out, repeaded the name of the sandwich, and fixed something totally different, but to top it off, the sausage pattie wasn't even completely heated (which I found out as I was back at my car and my granddaughter discussed-spit it out). I could have gone back into the store, but I was just not in the mood to argue with somebody. As they made our drinks, one of the ladies had her fingers in the cup and I asked not to use the cup, it took several explanations on my side why this is not acceptable and the older lady had an attitude and said....."I HEAR YOU", well, I may not like other peoples germs in my drink, and good customer service would have been........"sorry, we fix a new one".........also, it would have been so much easier to put a sign out what can be served today due to personal shortage. I saw at least 8 people getting out of line and leaving Starbucks. I saw more people being frustrated with the service and saying so to other people in line. This was such an awful service today, I may stay with the local coffee shops, better service, smiling faces and never did I see anybody putting there hands / fingers inside of my coffee cup! This one is always really disorganized and almost dirty looking. Nothing is being cleaned between customers. Stale steamed milk and food product all over the counters.... Today I went in with a gift card and halfway through my ordering, the barista handed the cashier her cell phone, as she had been on it while she was mixing beverages, and the girl taking my order just walked away on the phone. Absolutely no level of attempted feigned customer service attempts or apology for being rude... Nothing. Then it took forever to get my order because the two females working couldn't stop gossiping about personal things long enough to make a hot chocolate and a latte.
It is such a bummer that this is the only Starbucks in the entire county, and this is the representation that they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLiterally the WORST Starbucks I have EVER been to. I only continue to go here because there is no other one around Pittsboro/chapel hill. But the staff here is horrible, they don't follow recipes or anything and are very rude. The management team needs to all get on the same page as their employees at this Starbucks. After having messing up my order multiple times, I came back here again to give another chance and failed again, director of Harris Teeter finally called me and try to accommodate for my order which she did and she was very nice and helpful and I really appreciate her for that however the Starbucks employees are not. I do not recommend this starbucks, as they do not care about you, from now on I would rather drive an extra 15 to 20 minutes to go to a normal better Starbucks actually accommodates to their customers...
