Alfonso's Pizza — Restaurant in Carrollton

So to begin ,We used to love to come to this establishment for pizza and other food options . We haven't been ther since new management took over. I can say management needs to be able to take criticism along with praise that wasn't the case last night. Management was rude 😒 and very unprofessional. We didn't care for the lasagna and asked if we could just trade it for something different. Managment came out told me pretty much if I didn't like the sauce that was too bad !!!!! This was there sauce for everything. Didn't offer any replacement and said SHE WOULDT TAKE OFF THE BILL !!!!! VERY RUDELY....I wasn't trying to be rude or get a free meal we just truly thought the lasagna was too sweet for our liking. No worries we won't be back and I sure won't give good reviews any longer as well. Management needs to take a class in CUSTOMER...

We saw the reviews while on a weekend trip to the area to visit with friends. Since the ratings we're amazing, we decided to give it a try. In short...it was amazing! All the reviews were correct. We had calzones and since they were huge, we each only ate half of ours and decided to take the rest home with us. We have an electric icebox for travel and thought we'd try and get them home. We traveled 403 miles and every time we got a water from the icebox we could smell the wonderfulness. I have to say...after 403 miles the calzones were still amazing! Their fresh ingredients made all the difference! We look forward to traveling back and trying the other menu items. Oh, on a side note....there is some wonderful Peruvian art in the walls and we would love to know the history of this place, so...

Alfonso's pizza, calzones, subs, spaghetti and meatballs, salads, and Chinese (lunch) are all very delicious!! Alfonso and Elena (owners) are really awesome friendly ppl that I can't say enough great things about. They give highschool students jobs that not only gives them the tools to be hard workers but also teaches them valuable life info as well as so much more. They only use fresh top notch products and really go well beyond to make sure customers have a pleasant experience. People come from hours away just to eat at Alfonso's on a regular basis. So if your not from the community, or passing thru, be sure to stop by Alfonso's!!! You won't regret it. I love all his food but my personal favorite is the 3 meat sub or...
