Today, 4/12/24, I witness negative judgment casted by two employees on a homeless man. He stepped over to grab a cup of coffee (which was being paid for by someone else) just to be told no! When the man finally stepped out of the establishment the lady behind the counter looked at me and said âwow the smellâ looking physically disgusted. I looked away and said âit happensâ. Her comment about the smell was unnecessary imo. She then proceeded to give me free donut holes with my purchase. I donât understand why she would give me, someone who is not in need free stuff, but yet not help those that are? I understand this is done to get people to come back, but in my mind it translated to greed. Keep those that bring the money and shun those who donât. They were so pressed about giving a man in need a cup of coffee. Like really?? I hope you never have to go hungry or unbathed not by choice but because you cannot help it. Be a blessing to others and help where you can. Itâs crazy how greedy and small minded people can be at times.
