Maaaajor sanitary issues that is not enforced by manager. My and my daughter came here to eat breakfast this morning, we had a seat close to the grill and I observed the cooks wiping the counters with their bare hands, messing with their hair, even picking behind their ears and continued to handle food with their bares hands and not once did they take time to wash their hands. The waitress were just as bad. Messing with their hair, one girl scratching the other employees back, I watched one waitress and in one minute she managed to have her fingers on her lips, then wiping the tip of her nose, massaging the inner corner of her eye.. These waitresses handle the food as well and is the only reason why I took to notice of it. The cook made himself a blt, ate it, did not wash his hands and returned to cooking food. The manager was there and she didn't take any notice, or obviously doesn't recognize this as an issue because the employees do not have any concern for the customers health and safety. I find this very insulting to good paying customers. I will neeeeever ever come back to this location.. Even though it is the closest one to my house I will drive an extra 10 miles to a waffle house that gives a hoot. The manager was right there-- hello?! I couldn't believe it. I didn't bother even talking to her, she obviously doesn't care. I'd rather just have this review here to warn others to stay clear. I better not get sick. If so, I'm coming back and going to video record what I just witnessed and share it on social media. Definitely telling my team members at Toyo not to eat...
Read moreWalked in just now to try to eat at this location. I find it very inappropriate to use the Covid Table closed signs just because the staff do not want to work that entire side of the restaurant? We then walked to the only booth available on the other side and sat down even though it too had one of those signs. Then the waitress stated we could not sit there either. She said she was the only staff working now. So basically she had 2 booths and the bar open and that was it. The area was particularly crowded up and definitely Not abiding by any 6 foot separations. (Precisely, why we went to the far side to begin with). I then stood up and said. "Well I guess we are going to eat elsewhere then", and we walked out the door. No apology from the staff whatsoever. We understand things are a bit more challenging these days, but that was very poorly handled. It would've went over far better for us if she had offered her apology and offered to get us a booth as soon as one became available or suggest another location, etc. Just extremely poor customer service and we are really hate that, because we have eaten here a few times in the past and always gave you...
Read moreMelvin and 1st shift rule at this location, but sadly third shift needs work the new girl Alice is rude and needs to be taught to stay off her phone take the headphones out and clean tables. Gage was not there he usually seats people and this is where my confusion starts, when its 2-3am no customers and Alice tells me TO-GO only makes no sense. Multiple tables dirty! No silverware for to-go orders she claims. I was hungry and just got off work after working over 18 hours in a day straight. My job is manual labor I wanted a hot meal. Went down to the location on Joe Frank Harris across from QuickTrip which is out of my way but the only place open. I was pleasantly seated and told by all the workers they are not allowed to say “its to-go only” so that made me frustrated being I drove all the way over there to find out she just did not wanna work or the cook didn’t either way. Someone needs to train her customer service. Shoutout to the crew at the Joe Frank Harris location 3rd shift is on their A game plenty of clean tables and happy faces eating waffles...
