Decided to try this place while working in Carthage. SO glad we did. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, industrial style decor.
The service was great she did forewarn us it would be about 35 minutes before we would be able to get any food.
We quickly ordered an appetizer because we were starving! We got the loaded fries they come with bacon, cheese, and SMOTHERED in cheese with a side of their homemade DILL heavy ranch. They were absolute delicious! I could've drank that ranch, you could absolutely tell it was homemade in house ranch. As soon as I saw it I knew. We cleaned the plate and I'm talking the whole plate even scraped the extra cheese on the paper đ.
I couldn't decide what to do so the waitress recommended the Beez Kneez Pizza. It has pepperoni, jalapenos, red sauce, cream cheese and generously drizzled in hot honey. I got it without the cream cheese and I got the smallest size the 8 inch. It was so good. I'm not a fan of red sauce and it was still delicious. I did ask for a little more hot honey and they brought me out a HUGE container full to the brim I just dunked it on in there. All those flavors just combine to make one delicious fusion.
My boyfriend got the hot Carthage chicken sandwich and onion rings and he said it was delicious
We were floored how affordable everything was
We liked this place so much we came back today for breakfast.
Again I couldn't decide what to order so I got a little bit of everything: eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, and avocado toast.
The eggs were the best restaurant eggs I have EVER had. It tasted like theyre made with bacon grease which I am pro bacon grease in my eggs. Whatever they use they are INCREDIBLE
The bacon was the perfect ratio of crispy and tender
The biscuits and gravy was probably top 2 best biscuits and gravy I have EVER had. The biscuits were soft and fluffy, the gravy was seasoned to PERFECTION, perfect consistency. They were so good I ordered another one.
I wasnt a fan of the avocado toast but that was due to my own personal preference. There wasn't anything wrong with it just the bagel seasoning is just not something I care for. I wasn't aware it had that when I ordered it. Next time I try it I'll get it without that and it will be perfect.
Service was great today too! The server was very nice and helpful!
The breakfast was super affordable too! Both meals were $30 before tip. Can't beat it!
We will definitely be back and spread the word! If you're looking for a hidden gem with delicious food, great service, and affordable this...
Read moreI have been several times through their soft opening and have a few specific item reviews below. Overall, the head chef truly cares about the food she is creating. She is an artist in all she does and treats her in-house recipes with the same heart and passion as her other mediums of art. The overall feel is definitely still soft opening and training a lot of new staff. Be gracious and offer constructive comments / guidance if you feel the need to help them grow!
Caprese Burger This salad on a burger was pretty darn good. I've never had a caprese sandwich or burger, but compared to the salad: The warmth brings out flavors in the elements missed in salad form. The melted mozzarella paired with the in-house burger was an exquisite pairing! I don't know that I'd "mess" with this burger like I do most (AKA ask for things to be removed or added). The ingredients were simple and didn't Need flavor help. It was also the least spicy thing I've had.
Fettuccine Alfredo The fettuccine is not only exquisite on its own. It also travels impressively. Generally, if I find a good, authentic Alfredo sauce, it starts to separate in a togo travel time. Theirs did not. The pairing of that role with the Alfredo flavor is past a rivalry for Olive Garden's Alfredo and Breadstick combination.
Rasta Pasta Overall the spice and sweet was a perfect balance and the pasta was well cooked. The grease level of the sauce/peppers and opinions was also well matched. The chicken chunks were well sized and cooked soft. There were a few that were, "grisely," but that seems natural. Over all it is amazing and there is not a dish anywhere around here that could rival it as a sweet-with-a-kick dinner option. Know that people who do not like "super spicy" should drink water or tea with it. Carbonation enhances the mouth tingle.
Pig Pen Pizza It has a slight zing that leaves a good after taste that lingers. It's the kinda food that doesn't let people forget about it for a while. A traditional 3 meat pizza can't even pretend...
Read more"Air-hockey puck, burned burger patties." I would love to give 4-5 stars to this gem. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is unique, warm, and fun. But we experienced a large gap in quality between items we ordered from the menu. We came when it was not busy, around an hour and a half before close, but waited 45 minutes for the appetisers to come. They were out of pasta, so we had to settle for other menu items. We would have ordered more mozzarella sticks had we known there were only 4, (7 in our party). The onion rings were good and plenty. The 2 pizzas we ordered were delicious. But the "smash burgers" were pathetic. I ordered loaded fries with it (minus bacon bits), but received regular fries instead. If I'm paying more than $10 for a burger, I expect to find more than an ounce of beef on it. Everything about the burger was great except the meat. It was burned beyond reason and a fraction of the size of a McDonald's happy meal patty, (A day later, I went to Five Guys and got 4 times the amount of meat for the same price as Nobel's). I was so hungry, but I couldn't bring myself to eat the blackened, hard, 1/8" thick dry air-hockey puck patty, (not even a solid patty, like someone took a few crumbs of ground beef and smashed it against 400° for 40 minutes). I complained kindly to the staff and asked for it to be remade. I waited another 30 minutes for the replacement and loaded fries. Again, it was burned to a crisp and the patty only slightly bigger than the last. If you're going to keep this on the menu, and you want me to change my review to 5 stars, you need to start with a 1/2 lb of meat and cook to Medium or less, (measure the meat and use a timer). You lose everything good from the meat when you cook...
