What. A. Feast! This place just opened (3/19/25) and they are off to a strong start. Offering a blend of Indian, Thai, and Chinese food (and some Nepali secret menu options) I had the opportunity to try quite a few dishes. The Chili Mo Mo was a first for me and it might be my new favorite. The mango lassi was rich and thick and the butter chicken was among the best I've had. Despite ordering a 5/10 spicy it felt a little underpowered. The seasoning though was wonderful. Aryan was one of the most attentive servers I've had (although it might be because I was the only customer). The atmosphere only gets a 3 though, only due to a lack of decoration, but I can easily see it coming up to a 5 as well in the near future. The prices were very reasonable with an average (back of napkin math) of about $15-$20. Overall, I would gladly eat here again and I will tell my neighbors to come check out Basil and Spice. Next day lunch update. Still delicious! Baked the Naan at 350 for 7 minutes and it was just like new. The Chili Mo Mo still wonderful and the butter chicken amazing.

First visit here and I decided to have the thai Tom Kha soup as a starter and the indian palak paneer as my main dish. I always get the Tom Kha soup when I try out a new Thai restaurant as this is a good indicator of how balanced the flavors are. My daughter in law is Thai and taught me a great deal about the cuisine. I this case the soup was good, but it certainly was NOT Thai. It tasted like it was prepared with sweetened coconut milk, was to thick in consistency and had WAY to many onions. See photo. The samosas, rice and the palak paneer were excellent, I certainly would eat of the Indian menu again. This is a small place in a strip mall. It lacks atmosphere if you're looking for a nice dine in dinner spot. The servers were super attentive, so no complaints there. I will try their Chinese food and the Japanese curry in the future, maybe I can bump it up a star after.

Update: Unfortunately, I had to remove a star from my review. Since dining in several weeks ago and enjoying every bite of our food, we've ordered pick up 3 times already; and every time we order the same 3 dishes , it always tastes different! One time, food was very salty, no spice at all for level 4, then suddenly, there were nuts in butter chicken, then today my salmon tikka was bland & watered down. I really wish they would be consistent. This new restaurant is a gem! We enjoyed all the food we ordered. Delicious! Delicious!! The service was a bit lackluster but understandable as they were overwhelmed with many to go orders (which is a good sign) They're still trying to figure things out and the restaurant was also packed with customers. Overall, we would definitely be back.

Updating to 5 stars! Wow- Basil and Spice reached out to me after my initial review and went ABOVE and BEYOND to talk through my experience and to redo my initial order. The new order was very much improved, and was exactly how it was when we first started eating there. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service, and so we will be keeping them on our take-out list!**

When this restaurant first opened, we tried their butter chicken and it was literally the best I had ever had! It was so thick, rich amazing flavors, and I told everyone I could about how great the new place was. I have ordered it many times over the past 4 months, but the past 3 times we have ordered, it seems that they have really changed their original recipe. It is now much more watery, not rich anymore and it makes me so sad because it had been so great! I really hope they go back to how they were making it when they opened in the spring, but it will be awhile before we...

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. It’s a pretty small place, but several tables and it was clean. It was possible the best butter chicken we’ve had before. We got spice level 5s (out of 10) to play it safe and it was basically not spicy, so don’t be too worried about the heat at lower levels at least. The garlic naan was good and fresh and not too oily. We also got the navratan korma which I didn’t care for but I think it’s because I just don’t like the base ingredients - my girlfriend liked it, but not as much as the butter chicken. The rice was also a little firm, a nice al dente, not too soft. I think portion sizes might be a little smaller than other places (i.e. not necessarily a ton of leftovers for one person), but at the same time probably about right cost-wise with today’s prices. They also gave us free mango ice cream when we finished eating which was delicious! I’d recommend...
