Taco Bell — Restaurant in Caseyville

Updated 3/9/25 Do you ever wish that you could spend 5 minutes with "Mr. Taco Bell" or "Mr. McDonald?" Of course I am referring to the upper corporate suits. Do you think they have ever even eaten at a Taco Bell? I would bet that is a hard NO! Otherwise they would be highly disappointed with their own food. The only thing in my area that is open "late" is Taco Bell. This is usually the point where I get mad at myself for not being better at weekly meal planning. I should literally just throw my money out of my car window. I went through the drive thru and of course the menu has changed again! What I thought I was going to order is already off the menu. I ordered the chicken enchilada burrito. It tastes nothing like an enchilada or a burrito. You better check your order before you leave the window. If it's actually correct you are doing good. I can't stand the fact that Taco Bell has essentially lost their identity. They need to stop trying to be a Chipotle or Qdoba. Sorry, the quality of ingredients will never measure up and Taco Bell can't even fill a fourth of a tortilla. They need to keep something familiar to customers and stop the russian roulette menu. Great establishment...great teamwork and group of individuals who work very hard, very mature for their ages, and keep everything right. Everything was kept clean & stocked...employee frequently checking out the dining/eating area & quickly clear off/clean tables that are dirty if need be as well as stock up all of the condiments, eat-ware, empty all the trash cans, and the bathroom while the employees back in the kitchen did their jobs accurately, speedily, and without any complications or complaints...my food was ready 2 go within 2 minutes of ordering and it was delicious. Affordable and full-filling for it being a $5 meal! Can't go wrong with a Nacho Fries Box 4 real. Take advantage people who don't have a whole lot of money to eat out at a restaurant or to a fine diner & get fast food alot/most of the time. I am hoping the employees here at the Taco Bell in Caseyville, IL are getting a high enough hourly pay & if not, they deserve 2 get a pay raise! after a terrible experience at the belleville west taco bell a few days prior, we decided to give the caseyville location a chance. THE FOOD WAS GREAT! Warm, and we'll prepared.... if have given them 5 stars, but when we got home, the grilled stuffed steak burrito wasn't in the bag.... only $4 wasted... but at least the food was good.

Skip ahead 4 years. 2/21/23 - on the way home from a late baseball practice across the river. Only thing we find open along the way.... the 2 ladies at the window/microphone were very courteous and polite. They repeated my order to me and told me my total. They asked about sauces, and we got our sauces in the bag. Everything was there. The experience was quick, relatively well priced, service was polite and accurate, and the food was pretty damn good for 1030 at night. No complaints.
