The review by Emily Grantham is completely untrue, and it is unclear why she has taken such an effort to slander our business. To address a few issues with her statement: there is no way any one of our staff would have been rude to any of our guests, the way that she depicts. Nearly every other review, portrays our staff as warm and kind and friendly. Next, there is absolutely no way any table would wait over an hour for food unless we were possibly getting dead slammed, but even then, very doubtful, and with only two tables; impossible, especially with three people on staff as she seems to indicate. Finally, she States that the burgers made them ill. I will concede that it is possible that a contaminant may have entered the beef during processing, but we always source our food from licensed, certified distributors and as a restaurant that received an extremely high rating from the department of health for cleanliness and food safety knowledge, which, by the way, we absolutely pride ourselves on, it is extremely unlikely that contamination was caused during the course of food preparation. This woman makes our restaurant sounds like an absolute nightmare, and if she would like to reach out to me and let me know personally, what caused her to want to do this, she certainly may. I would be very curious to know. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I am a very warm and approachable person, and that my restaurant quality means everything in the world to me, and receiving such a scathing review is very personal. đ To Emily, whoever you are, Iâm sorry that youâre experience at Bobby Johnâs was not everything you hoped it would be, but to make up all this terrible stuff⌠Iâm guessing youâre not a business owner who puts every ounce of your heart and soul into your business. Please remember that the lies you spread about local small businesses can be...
Read moreWe drove 20 minutes one way to support this local business. We wonât be back. Despite the manager/ owner/unsure but seemed in charge, saying âwe are the only place open and if I wouldâve known I wouldâve staffed it betterâ, that is not the reason we had such a poor experience. For one they were not the only place open. We drove past many other open restaurants and intentionally came here to try them out as we knew they were a new business. Second, w were one of 2 tables ordering food. There was a woman behind the bar, also taking orders, a cook, and then this manager guy. It was not busy. The other table had already ordered. They did seem annoyed and now we know why. They had waited almost an hour for their food. We also ended up having to wait over an hour for a very simple order. The manager guy was doing more talking than anything. He didnât do anything to help. He kept leaving for long periods, I assume to deliver food? I donât know why. The poor woman did everything she could and she was the only saving Grace. I assume the cook is new and has no idea what they are doing which is why it was insanely slow. When I asked where the food was, manager guy had nothing but excuses and did not apologize. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers and a BLT. They are supposedly a burger bar. The burgers were AWFUL! My entire family felt sick after. My BLT was fine but those are hard to mess up which is why I ordered it. This bad food, combined with an insanely long wait, and there being a table full of old men drinking and swearing loudly while my 2 young daughters were nearby, means we will...
Read moreLoved the friendly service, atmosphere, food, and architecture at this authentic small town Wisconsin restaurant in timber, organic and dairy farms country. I don't know which we enjoyed more; the beautiful western Wisconsin drive or the lovely smiles of the family owned business owners and their funny stories about being food entreprenuers. Made for a delightful day trip exploring Mississippi River small towns and...
