This was my first time going into this restaurant and never again!! I went in with my two friends and there was an issue with the whole thing...... We ordered appetizers and they were alright but not good at all (fried green tomatoes were incredibly tiny- slightly larger than cherry tomatoes and salty. They are usually normal-size tomatoes). We got the stuffed jalapeno poppers- which was half of a jalapeno (a popper is a whole stuffed Jalapeno). My two friends and I asked for our salads/soup to come to us before our meal and we only had about five minutes or less to eat that. I requested that my dressing be put on the side and it wasn't. I sent the czar salad due to the dressing being on it and it came back with only lettuce and dressing. I asked for a manager and by that time the food came out and it was all meat and no toppings. I got a different sandwich and the chicken was awful (it tasted like the chicken wasn't even cooked at all). I couldn't even finish half of the sandwich; it was that bad!! My friend's drink wasn't even made properly, and my other friend had to wait over ten minutes for his lemon for his tea, Let alone the waitress was more worried about her other tables and screwed us the whole time. Let alone I noticed a cook with long hair and he didn't have it fully put back and restrained (that was so gross seeing that and made me nervous that there could be hair in my food). When I spoke to the manager she seemed to not care about the service and the food, even though she made things correct, the food and service still sucked. It took our waitress a whole glass of iced tea before she brought out the lemon wedge that was suppose to come with it. It was like she thought her other tables were more important and failed to give the same equal service to all of her tables. I get better food from fast food restaurants than I did from this...
Read moreThe first time I ate here the food was delicious and the service was good. Several months later my daughter and I went back for dinner. The food was mediocre, the appetizer barely had any toppings on it, and the service was terrible. We waited for silverware for our appetizer for 20 minutes before we could get someone's attention. Our waitress never checked on us. Not one time were we asked if we needed drink refills. The manager (Brandon?) was completely and utterly worthless. We were sitting at a table next to the bar and all he did was keep messing with the TVs and stand by two men at the bar who were apparently friends of his. He would stand there and dance and talk to them and mess with the TVs but not once did he ever check on any customers. He was rude to all the staff we saw him interact with, and he did not smile once at anyone except his friends. He seems to be very young and arrogant. Whatever happened to going around checking on your patrons just to make sure they are getting good service and good food? The only redeeming thing about our visit was Ella the hostess. She was super sweet and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we got what we needed even if she had to do it herself. She paid a hell of a lot more attention to us than our own waitress or anyone else that worked there. I witnessed her interact with many customers and it was clear she was efficient, professional, friendly, just about the only employee there worth anything. Kudos to you Ella, without you, our experience would have been completely horrible. But because of her we might actually go back and...

I had the Cod Sammich Special with an elevated side of Buffalo Ranch TT Casserole ($14.99) and a beer flight ($6.00)
Cod Sammich- great batter and perfectly cooked, I was surprised to see a slice of cheddar on top instead of the grated kind but it actually is better! I didnât eat it as a Sammich, more like a fish dinner. But let me rave about this tartar sauce! It is more of a tarter dill sauce and very well balanced. Compliments the fish fabulously!
On to the tots- EXCELLENT! This spicy side is a meal of its own. I would totally recommend this to anyone that is not eating meat but missing buffalo chicken wings. Itâs literally and texturally what it reminds me of. Mind blowing!
Letâs talk beer- I absolutely love LOVE love the flight menu! Ale Works gives you 6 suggestions of 4 beer flights that pair well together. I got the âLocals Onlyâ but I canât tell you how much I appreciate the suggestions! Sometimes picking beers for a flight can be overwhelming (anyone else???) my fav was the Petro Pilsner.
Lastly, the service- I imagine this place is feast or famine by reading the reviews but I came on Valentines Day at 2pm and I was seated right away and well cared for by the âLight of Ale Worksâ Chris. Truly, what an amazing soul. Thanks for sharing your light with me today and thank you Ale Works for an awesome...
