Area 51 Food Park — Restaurant in Castroville

First time ever going to this place and I did not know where to park or was anyone there to help me, instead I got a screaming owner, being aggressive when I had my 3 little ones with me, kept on repeating myself “I’m new here, I’m even new to SA I don’t know where to park can you just let me know” he still kept on being verbally aggressive and loud that he scared my kids and I just told him that I was gonna leave but for him to step away from us and leave us alone and he refused and kept on being next to us screaming until we exited. HORRIBLE experience this guys shouldn’t have a food truck rental place if he doesn’t know how to treat people or even talk. My kids came out screaming and traumatized because of him! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, when my friends that do live in SA called me and asked why I left I told them they answered with “ oh he is the owner he is like that with everyone he screams and is very aggressive” like if it’s okay for someone to behave like that towards people unacceptable even more that no one has told this guy to stop, can’t even wrap my mind around people being okay with the owner treating everyone like that. CRAZY!!! Do not recommend because of that...

This was the first time I attended this food truck community, music was great ,alcohol beverages prices were reasonable. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Only issue was the Santos Taco Food Truck. There Quesabirria tacos were good but I went to get two sets of tacos they told me they will be right out gave me a electronic notification device to let me know when the order will be ready and I even gave them a two dollar tip. Well after 15 minutes they advise me that they ran out of birria meat well they couldn’t told me that to begin with, spent close to 30 dollars and I agreed to substitute one order for street tacos instead because my wife was set on the quesabirria tacos I asked to partially refund my money well they indicated they couldn’t. So I settled to get the other order of street tacos to cut my loses. Well on the street tacos it stated five and I only received three on both orders I know the quesobirria tacos included three but I would believe since I got the street tacos instead I should have got five. Mariachis Tacos did it again!!! It was almost closing time on Monday night at 11:20 pm, the cook managed to put together our order with birria meat (which we prefer), even with the possibility the meat would not be enough, he did it!! 👋 Thanks for taking very good care of your customers and going the extra mile. This is what makes a difference with your food truck and everyone else's. My Torta Supreme was extra crispy, and all the tacos were on point. One suggestion is that I would like to taste a mild version of your hot sauces. I bet they are delicious, but too hot 🔥 at least for my stomach 😋. If not possible, it's understandable since this is Mexican food from Jalisco to the USA. To all other customers, heads up if you like lots of lime on your tacos, bring extra slices from home.
