Katie's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Cayce

Ordered a tuna sandwich to go, when I arrived back at work I ended up getting a turkey sandwich. I called them and told them the mistake they have made. They told me to come back up and get the correct sandwich. As I told them I couldn't come back up today because I already left work once for the day to get lunch I couldn't just leave on there mistake. She told me that next time I come back she would offer me the sandwich I ordered and payed for. So 3 days later I go back to get the sub that was owed to me. Now they say the can't give me a sandwich because I didn't bring the wrong one back..... guess I should have kept food at my desk for 3 days until I could come back??? I was a regular that went to Katie's 2 to 3 times a week. I also work for a trucking company and always recommend our driver's to eat at Katie's while they wait on repairs for there units. Guess its worth losing a regular and the drivers that check in over a mistake y'all said you would fix but did not take care of. BTW we are the largest flat bed company in the United States. I'm sure someone will be glad to take our money and offer customer satisfaction. Apparently Katie's don't...

A trip to your aunt's house. Not your fun aunt but the one who collects inspirational signs with all the cats (you've never seen  a cat but all signs point to thier existence) who always talks about how great the Carter Era was. The aroma coming from the kitchen sooths you as she gruffly slams the most delicious sandwich down in front of you and commands you consume. The command is unnecessary as this common sandwich breaks through your trepidation and encompasses your soul in a body pillow hug of flavor. This man filled, botanical garden is also ideal for anyone needing a last minute anniversary dinner. Not only do they provide home-cooked food you can claim as supporting local businesses to seem sensitive, but they have a selection of catalog jewelry and undoubtedly haunted stuffed bears for last minute gifts. The beauty shop is also available for before date spruce ups. No doubt this will be an ideal setting for either a Stephen King or Nicholas Sparks novel, depending on...

Apparently, it's possible for "top rated" to mean 2nd place out of 2 options. If you are hungry in Sandy Run, do yourself a favor and wait until you have driven in any direction far enough to be anywhere else but here. This abomination shares a quaint little building with a florist and a hairdresser. I truly believe I could have gotten a better meal at either of those than the basket of regret I was served at Katie's Sandwich Shop. To top it all off, when I paid for the large drink option rather than settle for the small, I was informed about the difference between the two is: with the small you get a 20 oz. cup and choice of 20 oz. bottled beverage to pour into it, whereas with the large, you get a 32 oz. cup and CHOICE OF 20 OZ. BOTTLED BEVERAGE......
