Pa’l Pueblo — Restaurant in Cayey

Made reservations for a night with the wife and friends and had no issues getting a table as soon as we arrived. Food was delicious! I recommend the Pa’ Jajome (manchego cheese croquettes) and Pa’ Guavate (mini “alcapurrias”) for appetizers. The wagyu sliders were awesome and the nutella corn balls with ice cream was very good as dessert. The Pope and Flamboyan are tasty if straight whiskey is too strong for you. I do recommend that the establishment either provides a written check or show the order with costs digitally to diners (instead of calling out how much is owed to everyone on the table!) so it can be checked prior to paying. I've had the pleasure of experiencing a few cocktail bars in this region, some of which are my favorites (no need to head to San Juan). As far as Bar/grills go, I found this one to be quite charming. Whisky/Whiskey themed, which I like since it's my poison of choice. Their food is very, very good, their cocktails quite nice, but their rare Whisky/Whiskey selection is even yummier. Recently opened, the town plaza is quite nice too. Service is top notch too. Their bar tenders and waitresses are very attentive to us customers.

Located just across from the plaza ( which is nearly completely rebuilt ) this quaint and creative "bar" exists. It feels a bit like home as you walk through the 'kitchen' area and see small seating areas with beautiful walls of murals.
