I had an amazing experience at Desi District Austin! It truly is a one-stop shop — I originally went there just for groceries, but ended up buying some fresh meat and couldn’t resist trying their awesome food.

The ambience is absolutely beautiful — upscale, modern, and vibrant. It gives off such a classy vibe while still feeling welcoming and comfortable.

The food was outstanding! I tried both their veg and non-veg items, including the Butter Naan, Kathi Rolls, and some delicious desserts. And of course, I couldn’t leave without their biryani, which was just amazing — flavorful and perfectly cooked.

I visited Desi District on the day of soft launch and was really impressed by both the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. Every dish had a distinct flavor and tasted fresh. Here are few items that I tried

Jalebi: Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfectly soaked in syrup without being overly sweet. It reminded me of traditional street-style jalebi from India!

Rumali Roti: Soft, thin, and perfectly cooked — it paired beautifully with the curries.

Guthi Vankaya Biryani: This was the star of the meal! The rice was aromatic and fluffy, and the stuffed eggplants were bursting with spice and flavor. Definitely a must-try for anyone who enjoys authentic Andhra-style biryani.
