Woodys Show Club — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I visited for the first time the other night. I had an amazing time. Staff was polite, dancers were friendly, prices were a little higher than I expected, but it's been a few years since I've been to a club, so I'm not surprised. The dancers do push for private dances and rooms, but i understand they are at work and trying to earn money. You don't go to a cell phone store and not expect them to sell you on the newest phone. Why do you think going to a club you wouldn't try and be sold on private services?? And if you aren't going to buy said services, do you really expect them to continue sitting with you? Hell no, they are at work and they earn their money through sales, so the bad reviews I read before going, take them with a grain of salt. The dancers were all lovely, sexy, and polite. i am a traveling dancer.. i will ssy this club looks very nice and clean on the inside.. i was told to come here on a Saturday, and i could dance. i got there Saturday (i drove two hours to get there) and brian, the owner was there instead. he had me get dressed out, and come sign the contract.. then he tells me i meed to watch a 45 min video of him talking about a male perspective of dancing. and said if i ever had a regular job, i would have to watch videos sbout it. This place is wack as hell, do not ever go here!!! First off the man at the door, didn't even open the door, then the dancers were all either post pregnancy or prevent drug treatment. None were attractive they all looked like tired. The music was horrible, it's a strip club and the music was not anything that you could even snap your fingers to. We had a party of 5 and not one stripper walked up to our table. I observed an older man getting dressed from what looked like a quickie. The stripper was walking around with their purses, how you stripping and carrying a purse on stage??? My entire party was disappointed.
