I have to say how surprised and thrilled I was to find this incredibly perfect little delight in the heart of Cedaredge, Colorado. I'm so thankful I ended up there after this gem of a place had opened to the public. Talk about perfect timing!

I have lived all over the US and traveling the globe and I have to say this beautiful diamond would be my welcome home away from home in any city I have ever lived in or traveled to! The fact that it's tucked away in this charming small Colorado town is just an added sparkle on the stone.

I went with my daughter and her wife who are locals and knew I would fall madly in love. They were not wrong.

If you have been dreaming of a delightful spot to escape the day to day and enjoy a little decadence, this is your spot. But don't be fooled. It's not out of any price range. Everything here is top shelf, yet incredibly reasonable in price. (TBH, downright inexpensive!)

They have the best cheeses, incredible selections of wines, and decadent deserts! The price for three adults was the same as the other restaurants in the area, yet the food and wine (as well as ambiance) was better than many expensive NYC restaurants I've frequented for far less!

Try EVERYTHING! You will not be disappointed! Also make sure to meet Lana and Denise, the incredibly friendly curators of Sips on Main. They are great to talk to and - along with the servers on staff- will make you feel right at home!

Not too fancy, don't worry about what to wear. But just a perfect blend of decadent and comfortable. You will fall as deep in love with this...

Much of the menu is a bit pricey for us, which will limit our visits to perhaps two a year. But the restaurant offered something we could afford for Father's Day Eve, and we liked it very much. I'd call the atmosphere cozy urban, the food excellent and the staff members fabulous. I had a six-ounce steak that was cooked perfectly. I can't say for sure that it was grilled, but it had grill marks and tasted grilled. I have not had a better steak since we moved here three years ago. My wife ordered scallops, and wished she had placed a full-, rather than half-order. But she loved the scallops and the sauce. Other items on the menu look very interesting, as well. My only disappointment was the rather short list of wines available by the glass. The place is called "Sips on Main," after all. We don't generally buy bottles at dinner, so I'd like to see more single-glass offerings.

Also, they make a cocktail called The Grand Mesa that is one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had. I can't remember all the ingredients, but they included Grand Marnier and bourbon. Wow! The tiramisu was...

Great restaurants in Cedaredge. The elk tenderloin was delicious and cooked to a perfect medium rare with a nice sauce that compliments, but doesn’t take over the dish. The grits were good, but barely warm. The beef filet with a little garlic sauce was nicely prepared, but the fries were clearly not made in house, which would have been a nice complement. Beet salad was delicious and light on the dressing so you could enjoy the different flavors. The Grand Mesa cocktail is a delicious variation on a Manhattan. Also had a nice glass of red wine. Wait staff was a bit overwhelmed with only the bartender and one other staff member covering the floor, but with a little patience they did a nice job. Rating a restaurant can be difficult in context . . . By Western Colorado standards this was excellent and we...

Big city vibes in little Cedaredge, this bar-bistro serves up gorgeous, moody-lux decor and gourmand-style small plates with plenty of sips - alcoholic and not. We ordered (names paraphrased, sorry): Hot Bread Platter, Pita Platter with Whipped Feta Dip, Italian Meatballs, Side Salad, Crab Cakes, Butternut Soup, Blackberry Spritzers, light red wine. Outstanding feta dip, bread and spritzers, and the imported French butter! Lovely friendly staff! What needed some improvement was the soup (room temp and watery) and under-seasoned, a bit soggy crab cakes. Our table was a kid-height one, I swear from IKEA so that could be upscaled to match the rest of the beautiful interior. Very pricey but we enjoyed it. Thank you, Sips!

This wine bar/restaurant is an incredible spot for GREAT wine, food, atmosphere, live music, unique gifts and a warm welcome. The wine list is extensive featuring wines from around the world and local delicious wine. I can't say enough about the beauty of the decor. It's a gorgeous, comfortable lounge atmosphere tucked into tiny Cedaredge, CO "The Gateway to the Grand Mesa" An unexpected gem with something for everyone. A great community gathering place and an oasis for people traveling through the area. We loved the live music we heard on the weekend. GO check it out for yourself!!
