Diamond Joes Pizza & Hoagies — Restaurant in Center Township

I placed an order for take out to be picked up at 5:15. I arrived a couple of minutes before 5:15 and was asked where I had been because they had made my order at 4:50. After telling the employee that my scheduled pickup time wasn’t until 5:15, I was assured that my food would still be warm. I arrived home to a cold hoagie and soggy bread, cold fries, and cold chicken tenders that I had to reheat in our air fryer. Needless to say, spend your money elsewhere, there are definitely better options in Butler.

EDIT: In response to the owner’s comment. I don’t expect my food to be started when I walk in. I do expect it to at least be warm when I pick it up. In fairness, I removed the part about the fry seasoning if that is your standard protocol. Either way, I won’t be back. I’m not a fan of having to cut off a portion of my sandwich cause the bread is mush from sitting around for too long. And if my food was done at 5:09, why did you try...

I decided to try this place out after hearing WLER radio promote the hell out of it 🙂

I haven't tried the pizza here, but the hoagies are really good! Made from a solid italian bread and they use real onion, not those bitter red ones.

The prices are very reasonable. My Italian 6" hoagie was $7. It was actually bigger than 6".

The service was fast and friendly.

The only negative thing I can really say is the place looks rough. I mean really rough. But don't let that stop you from trying it out.
