I have been coming here for years. They have the best arepa in town!!. Other Colombian rest. mix their arepa with flour and are too thin. Food is always great ! Customer service is great . Parking is along the streets , no private parking . They only take 💵 here is an ATM inside in case you need it. The arepas here are the best , And thick compared to other restaurants around . The other restaurants add flour to it and it’s not authentic. The bathrooms are always clean . The kitchen is pristine . The owners are 100% Colombians born and raised . Weekends get very busy . I always try to make it for breakfast . I find interesting a lot of the one star reviews are from people who only reviewed this restaurant and disappear from google reviews. I find that very interesting . My husband Nd I have been coming to this restaurant since 97 on and off . I have been a regular for the last three years (I work close by) and not once have I had a bad meal or bad Service . They are the cleanest . You can step in look inside the kitchen which is open wide and see...
Read moreGood Afternoon. We stop at Central Falls, RI to try a Colombian restaurant since there is supposed to be a big Colombian community here, expectations were high. We came to El Paisa and as we leave right now we are incredibly disappointed no. We ordered one bandeja paisa, one picada, side of morcillas and one patacón con carne. The wait was long but we were eager to enjoy the food. Finally it arrived, we had to return the picada since it was a plate full of you and papa and maybe five-six little pieces of meat. Since when a bandeja paisa comes with a salad with beets? boiled red skin potatoes? Where was the egg? Chorizo? Ground beef? Very, very dissapointing! The check arrived and we were charged for the side of the”picante”. The only thing we ate and we really liked was the morcilla, it was good! We were told that this restaurant has been serving these recipes for over 40years. We are Colombians and these food does not seem...
Read moreWe chose El Paisa today out many choices during Central Falls Restaurant Week. We had no experience with Columbian food and were a little intimidated as our command of the language was nil. The place was super clean, the staff was welcoming and put their best effort into communicating effectively with us. Our cordial, attentive waiter was named ? Davey. The vibe was not hectic. The food was beyond excellent, plentiful and well presented. My plate had slow cooked beef, rice, salad, potato and new to me,plantain and cassava. The meal was topped off with a choice of flan, tres leches or chocolate torte, everyone in our party ordered a different selection, they were all heavenly tasting,so generous that we all took some home to finish later. It was busy and appeared to have a large take out business.Highly recommend, we...
