Stopped in for a heart shape pizza on Valentine's day on my way home from work. I got home, ready to eat, opened the pizza box, to realize its a regular round cheese pizza, besides the sauce being too sweet, I called and I was informed I needed to come back to pick up the correct pizza, it's about 3 miles from my location so I asked if it can be delivered and provided my address, which they agreed to do so. I had a few people over so I started to cook and forgot about the pizza, then realized it's been almost 2 hours, I called and I just asked for a full refund but was told I needed to bring back the old pizza. I asked for a manager, she told me I need to bring in the pizza back for a full refund, I informed her its gone and I even needed to make food since I knew the correct pizza was going to take a while since it's valentine's day, she asked why did I take too long to call back and I should've picked up the pizza. I told her the representative I spoke to, said it will be delivered and it takes 15 or 20 minutes to cook and will be delivered, she then asked the representative if he told me that it was going to be delivered and representative said "no, he (meaning I) would pick up the pizza", I asked for a full refund, she (manager) said she will speak to her manager and will call me tomorrow. I didn't receive a phone call all day so I called it 6pm and was told I cant get a full refund if I can't bring back the full pizza but I can have a $5.00 credit for my next order, so I left it at that and moved on from Village Pizza. Read moreI've been ordering here for nearly 24 years, but recently I've noticed my pizza arriving like this. When I finally called to discuss the issue. A lady picked up the phone and She begin by saying her driver has worked there for so many years, so she doesn't think he would take it and she wouldn't take it because she doesn't like jalapeños. I never mentioned my pizza to her, so I wonder how she instantly knew who I was. Maybe they have a system to tell them exactly who is calling along with their order. Either way, she said it went directly from her hands to her drivers hands. And supposedly neither of them took a small piece, yet magically, my pizza is partially missing. She only offered to remake the pizza, which would take over 45 mins, and she had attitude the whole time while I tried to question why my pizza was missing a piece. I sent an email to the email address she gave me about 9 days and have yet to receive response, so I am finally deciding to leave negative review. Its truly disgusting that pizza places are doing this more frequently. Another place I have to stop eating at because I can't trust people to have even the most simplist type of integrity. I will consider eating here again, only if, the criminal who has stolen is identified and fired and I get an apology. A loyal repeat customer for 24 years, let's see...
Read moreOk so I know I trashed village approximately 3 weeks ago about the horrible service (which i was not wrong for). I felt angry and was fuming. I just felt belittled. But nevertheless, I received a call from the store owner, Manny. I must say I was surprised. But he did give a sincere apology which BTW is all that I really wanted. Thank you very much, Manny, for spending the time to give me a call and make things right. I really did appreciate that. You have restored my faith in Village.
Village Pizza has the worst and i repeat worst service EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did it take them over an hour to deliver my order, but it was wrong. i called village and i was accused of lying. can you believe that! i just signed for the dam food and your calling me a liar w/ an attitude. then i speak to a manager and ask for an apology from that associate and the first thing i hear when i get on the phone is listen ma’am i did not give you an attitude. You can only imagine my frustration. im a loyal customer. i understand that pple make mistakes or sometimes the food isn’t always the same but to order food from a restaurant sometimes 3x a week and be treated like some trash off of the street.
