Wanted a table (had to pay for the table because there was live music going on, who does that? Btw I was ok wi5h paying for the table, the live music people are good) so, willing to pay an entrance fee, I had called them since 1pm that day, no response from them, had to drive there to talk to a live person, and no one knew what was going on (can I do a reservation for a table for 9:30pm? That was the question) the so call "manager" came to me (5-8minutes waiting for her while she was talking to the "audio people" aka more important than me

That was Friday 12/30/2022 first of all the waitress from the beginning got a kind of attitude with no REASONS, but ok⦠I let it go cause I just wanted to enjoy my food with my family, everything was OK until my mom found a battery inside of her plate of rice. We were in shock cause finding a bug or hair in your food is something that you see a lot of times in food places but a BATTERY??? which is truly dangerous because of all the components that a battery would have. A restaurant is where you should feel trust on what youāre eating⦠we called the manager or the owner I donāt really know what she is. She start to apologize but only thing she offer to my mom was another plate of rice⦠I mean they cooked that rice with that battery inside, once they saw the situation the should went to the kitchen right away and throw all that just for customers safety. Obviously my mom didnāt took another rice, but they give her a small plate of salad in compensation of their mistake. Once I saw that inside of my moms food my appetite went away I put everything aside ask for my check and took my family out from that place. I would never go back to this restaurant!!! What make me feel worst was the way the staff specifically the manager handle the situation! This is a lesson for me or my family to never put anything inside our mouth before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife were in the area visiting this past weekend and I was looking for a good latin restaurant to have dinner and after looking at the reviews and photos of the place we decided to try La Casona. We were quite disappointed, first the service was subpar, they took a while to come and take our order, the menus are falling apart, the photos of the items do not look appealing, we asked for the parillada for 2. Once it came, most items were fried, very little steak, stale yuca fries and the arepa were clearly defrosted not made fresh. The waitress only came once a while after to check on us although it was not as busy. Why is it that restaurants don't understand that their number one responsibility is to serve good and FRESH food and provide great customer service??? You have ONE opportunity to gain repeated business and you blow it with frozen/fried items and bad customer service? The owner clearly spent a lot of money on the look of the restaurant but not in the main reason for it's existence THE FOOD! Then the final surprise, the total. I was shocked how cheap the food is. But to the owner, if you have a little business sense understand this... if you have GREAT food you can charge a lot more and gain repeated business which is KEY to business success!!! I would gladly pay more for GREAT FOOD and go back for more! Needless to say, we will...
