I have been here twice. The first visit was great: food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and provided great service. When I went back yesterday the food was not as good (carne asada was dry and very little flavor), and they tried to charge us an extra $30 for items we did not order. They also added a 15% “service charge” to the bill. Maybe this automatic gratuity is a new thing, fine, but I’ve never seen that applied for a party of 2 in any other restaurant. I always tip 20% or more. That wasn’t the problem. Trying to overcharge us because I don’t speak Spanish, or at least not much, and they knew I’d be paying, is not okay. Luckily my friend is Colombian and she caught this before I paid. When the waitress was informed of the mistake, she didn’t even apologize or appear sorry. In fact she seemed more slightly annoyed that she had to fix it. This was disappointing, and it really offended my friend. $30 was nearly an additional 50% more than we spent on dinner and drinks… before the additional 15%...

And order some spicy chicken wings. When I finally received my spicy chicken wings, they arrived without napkins, and the bartender remained inattentive throughout.
