We were planning on going to a different Mexican restaurant, but they weren't open. We went in the middle of the afternoon. We thought it would be really slow and we would get excellent service. We still got really good service even a little busy. Our waitress was GREAT! She greeted us at the door as soon as we walked in. We asked for a booth if there was one available. She said that she knew we were coming and had the best one available. It was the 1st one on the wall next to the window. She handed us the menus and took our drink order. I wanted a taco salad and saw on the menu that there were 2 of them listed. She said that the other one didn't didn't have the beans and rice in the bottom. My wife told her that's what she wanted, and I said that sounds good, I'll have that, too. It was excellent. It had more meat in it than a normal taco salad. That's my new favorite at Fiesta Grill. We've eaten at the Pickens and Easley locations before, and it was OK. This location is the BEST for food and service. We'll definitely go there again.
This place is always packed but never a long wait time. Sunday after church, normally a busy time for most, they were able to seat our party of 3 within 15 minutes. The reason they can do that is because their servers and cooks are so quick and always focused on getting your meal to you promptly. Never had anything bad here. Their cheese quesadilla with a side of rice is my go-to order. The quesadilla reminds me of a grilled cheese sandwich. I love it.
My only suggestion is their bathrooms. They need some TLC. The floors need pressure washing or a deep scrub. Around the stall post, toilet, and base of walls especially in the corners, over time has built up nasty black residue. This grime is a result of just mopping and not scrubbing those places every once in a while with a degreaser, hot water, and good old elbow grease aka manually scrubbing really hard. The grout could use some cleaning as well. I started eating here when it first opened and the bathroom has just not been maintained like it should. The toilet seat in the first stall is almost falling off. It's so loose. The toilet needs re-caulking...
