Hardee’s — Restaurant in Central

The Hardee's on Hwy. 93 in Central (Amanda / window and Leo /grill).

Went to Hardee's last night (11/14 at 5:30-ish pm) to try their new Frisco burger with the candied bacon. I know, I know 🙄🤣

There was 1 car ahead of me at the drive thru then 5 more cars lined up behind me. I placed my order, asked to substitute American cheese for the Swiss on the burger, no salt on the fries, and no ice in the drink. I know, I'm a bit needy.

The girl (Amanda) was very pleasant while taking my order, verified everything and asked me to pull up to the window.

After I paid for my order the girl disappeared from the window. She was no where in sight! 🫨

I mean, I was sitting there waiting for 10 minutes with nobody in sight, the cars that were behind me were still at the board waiting to order.

Finally the girl shows back up. She apologized for "the really long wait," said "it was only her and the grill guy (Leo) working, nobody else because nobody wants to work."

She apologized again for the wait and said she was doing the best she could. and gave me my food.

I thanked her for my food, and told her she was amazing, and that she was doing a great job. A big smile came about her face and she said "thank you!"

She apologized again for the wait. I wished her a good night and drove off.

But before I left the window I heard her starting to take orders again, and was very pleasant about it.

Man, I have no words...that girl WAS amazing! She and to grill guy held it together! The food was neatly wrapped and placed carefully inside the bag, and was well cooked.

The girl had ZERO attitude...I really commend her and wish her and the cook the best!

Thank goodness none of the cars lined up behind me started beeping their horns or getting ugly about the delay!

The whole situation was extremely humbling!

Hopefully something good will come out of it for those two cos...

I arrived, my order was taken within about 3 minutes of me sitting at the speaker in the drive thru. I personally visit Hardees every morning. i love the gravy biscuit combo. by far the best thing the Hardees franchise ever added to their menu. however despite that incredible menu item being the best there is. i could almost swear every southern grandmother can whip up a pan of biscuits and and big ol' bowl of white sausage gravy every Saturday morning but pardon me but a 28 year old crystal smoker is not going to be able to give the best service they can. my gravy was not thoroughly cooked with powder chunks and looked to be ground up sausage in it. it tasted like pure salt and cornstarch. the staff that work at this location are just pitiful. i really wish i could depend on this location to provide me with the best service... unfortunately I will have to adjust my commute towards liberty to get the Hardees gravy biscuit everyone knows and loves. I would love to visit this location another time and see it thriving with delicious food a southern restaurant could...

I never post reviews of places, especially bad ones but this is ridiculous! I just got home from working a 10 hour day, and still had errands so I was starving and decided to try their new Bacon Cheese Fries. The picture on the menu and all over the internet shows the fries are regular fries. I honestly hate Hardee's curly fries especially the seasoning they use so I got excited that it was used with their normal fries. I was wrong! Apparently with nobody else in line and only one car in the lot it takes over 10 min for a small bacon cheese fry and they didn't even do it right! I got home and opened up a barely bacon cheese curly fry. I just don't understand this Hardee's location. They NEVER make anything right. I live across the street and my family gets Hardee's from time to time....8/10 times it's horrible. They mess the order up like none other and make you wait forever before getting your food.
