It started off well - the salsa was exceptional, with cilantro and onion enough to give it a nice bite. I ordered my food with high hopes, bolstered by the many reviews praising their meals. It arrived and I was ready to dig in - first, a bite of my side of beans. Refried beans are a favorite of mine, and I have yet to meet a place that could mess them up. But oh, oh! How naive and innocent I was to believe in the beans! From the moment they entered my mouth, the texture was reminiscent of the vomit of a cat with gastroenteritis. The taste was old and mushy, and the cheese on top had been haphazardly sprinkled on, unlike the photos which showed it delectably melted. Disappointed and somewhat disgusted, I moved on to my main course: enchiladas poblanos. It was topped with a dark brown sauce with a unique aroma and more unmelted cheese. Braving my fears, I took a bite. Looking back, I wish I had been a coward. The chicken was rubbery, the tortillas dry, and the sauce with an indescribable yet wholly vile flavor. And as an extra mockery, it had been marked "spicy" on the menu, but had not even the slightest hint of any peppers above a 1 on the Scoville scale. My partner, sitting across from me and happily tucking in to her chorizo street tacos asked how it was. I gave a half hearted shrug, forcing myself to swallow, not sure how to answer without spewing up the few bites I had eaten. She took a bite herself, and her content expression morphed into confusion, realization, betrayal, and finally disgust. Out of pity for me, she gave me her last taco. And now at home, I sit, quarantined in the bathroom. I fear this toilet will never be the same. Heed my warning, fair people, lest you too be entrapped upon a porcelain...

What frustrates me is that I ordered the carne asada and the whole time they are watching knowing full well that wasnโt carne asada, it was dry rubbery piece of I donโt know what. As I am digging into my meal they are waiting to see what I am going to say because they are all watching smiling knowing full well what they gave me wasnโt what I ordered. Then the waiter at the end of the meal comes over and says how was the carne asada, I just looked at him. Give me a break. Not sure if this is how you treat all customers but you should do better. I really wasnโt in the mood today so I didnโt argue or send it back. Really!!! Throwing some onions on top of whatever was on the plate doesnโt make it any better. I wasnโt going to send it back because I already didnโt trust them so I finished the rest of my meal(everything except the steak) and paid the bill and left. Why did I pay, because I believe in paying for what I was given even though this was not the case. I also knew that I wouldnโt be back ever and this is not a battle I needed to fight. If you are thinking about going I wouldnโt waste my...
ย ย ย Read moreI stopped in here with friends for a late lunch after a long day. We had a large group and we were all hangry! The staff here greeted us, sat us with no wait time, and provided exception customer service. They met every need and we were demanding. We wanted extra chips, more salsa, sour cream, queso, guac..... Refills and they did an excellent, superb job making sure that every single one of us had everything we needed. Now to the food. I loved the table salsa. I could drink that stuff. It was made just how I like it. I ate tacos. I posted a picture. They were delicious. It came with this green salsa. Maybe a tomatillo salsa with what I think had pineapples or mangos in it......whatever it is...... Delicious again! I want this on everything. I bought extra to take home because it was like nom nom nom!!! And I ate every drop later! My friends had a mix of things like fajitas and those came out huge on super cool serving ware with a large amount of food. I recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner here. Great staff, great food, great time! Thanks so much. I'll bring more...
